“Only a couple of them. And I’ll sort it.”
Terrund nodded. “Never fear, Broadmire. We’ll ensure that your plants thrive.”
I had to focus on eating for a minute after that. Terrund had said ‘we’ and it had thrown me. For the first time in I don’t know how long, I was part of a team. And I liked it. I liked being on Terrund’s team. It felt special. It felt important.
Chapter 14: Joe
It was surreal, walking with Terrund across the fields towards the house, in the pink-red glow of sunset. I’d suggested we look at the house plants the next morning but he’d said we might as well do it tonight. So there I was, walking along beside my fantasy man and feeling a lot of things I couldn’t identify. They were a churning mess of emotions inside me and I wasn’t the best at sorting out my emotions.
The way he kept glancing at me out of the corner of his eyes made me self-conscious.
“Do I have something on my face?”
“No.”
“It’s just you keep looking at it.”
“I am admiring it.”
“Hmm, thanks?”
That was a compliment, right? It was just a weird one.
We walked for ten minutes in silence and I noticed that, even when Terrund was looking at me, he never missed a step. It was like he always knew where the ground was and it couldn’t trick him. I stumbled a couple of times because I wasn’t lookingwhere I was going. It was only when Terrund reached out a hand and took mine that I realised I’d been focusing on him instead of the ground.
Well, that was embarrassing.
His hand was cool and dry, his skin not quite soft, and it felt utterly perfect against my own palm. Strange. I’d never really focused on things like that before. Never felt that holding hands was nice in and of itself. Normally, I skipped straight to the good stuff.
That might be because I never stayed too long in one place, though. I’d never had time to build up to things slowly.
As we drew nearer to the house, I looked at the apple tree just outside it. That tree where I’d first seen Terrund.
As though he read my mind, he walked us over to the shade of the tree, which loomed dark in the glare of the sinking sun.
He leaned back against the trunk and it was as though he was posing for a magazine. His body was perfectly on display, strong and solid and elegant all at once, those leggings hugging his thighs so tightly that I wanted to wrap my hands around them and worship the muscles there, and his white shirt rippling in a slight breeze.
He reached his hand out to me, brushing his fingers lightly down my chest. His lips parted. I focused on them and couldn’t tear my gaze away.
“Joe?”
“Yes?”
“Please kiss me.”
I was on him in a second.
I fused our mouths together and slid my hands around his waist, holding him against my body. His lips were soft and supple, and he opened for me immediately. My tongue slid against his, exploring his mouth, and he moaned at the sensation. He sounded like he was about to come and that turned my insides to fire.
I found myself pressing Terrund up against the trunk, grinding my body against his. Every part of him felt so amazing that I didn’t want to lose contact with him. His lips were heaven, his chest against mine so solid and sculpted, his hard dick rubbing against mine.
I pinned him to the tree and kissed him until I ran out of breath, and then I kissed him just a bit longer. When I had to break away or pass out from lack of oxygen, I kept my forehead pressed against his so we breathed the same air and I still had his delicious body against me.
“More,” he said, and his strong hands pulled at me. He was tugging at my shoulders and my neck, jerking his hips forward to brush his erection against mine.
“You sure?”
“Yes, Joe. I want you.”
