CHAPTER TWELVE
BOOKER
Iwas so hard I was losing circulation to parts of me I definitely wasn’t willing to lose.
Even with the dark stain of her past glaring at me from that patch on her ribs, Reece was the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen.
Laid out on my kitchen table, a sheen of sweat across her skin as she tried to catch her breath. She was an absolute vision.
I wanted to go again. I wanted to hear her sweet whimpers and her whispered pleas for the thing only I could give her.
I was seconds away from beating my chest in pride. There was no greater pleasure than seeing a woman completely shattered by the pleasure you’d filled her with.
Reece weakly lifted her head from the tabletop. “Don’t stop now, cowboy,” she murmured, a goading grin on her face.
I shook my head, hating it when people called me that. Scooping her up into my arms, I set out for the stairs. “There are no cows here.”
“True. But I do so love the hat.”
I laughed then. It burst out of me with a force of joy no one else had ever brought to life inside me. No one before Reecemade me feel like this. Made me want the things I shouldn’t, like she could do.
She was as light as a feather in my arms as I took the stairs two at a time. I’d been so worried about taking advantage of her before that I never even considered what she wanted. Reece was a grown woman who’d gotten into a terrible situation. That didn’t mean it had to rule her life, though. And she deserved the respect to decide for herself about what she was ready for. Trying to take that from her would make me just as bad as the fool who hadn’t treasured her like she deserved.
I kicked open my bedroom door, striding to the bed as I gently laid her down on it. My knees came to the mattress as I held myself over her, kissing her lips because they were impossible to resist.
She looked so right lying here in bed. It was where she was meant to be, and I’d be the luckiest man alive if one day she agreed that was true.
“We can stop now,” I told her, giving her a chance to back out. I might not want to decide for her anymore, but I’d also make damn sure that she didn’t feel backed into a corner.
“Stop talking,” she said, kissing my lips. “Get naked instead.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
“Mmmm,” she purred. “I might like that.”
“God damn.”
I made quick work getting the rest of my clothes off and reached into the bedside drawer to retrieve a condom.
I was just about to ask her if she was sure she wanted to do this when she took it out of my hands and tore open the packet with her teeth.
“Someone’s impatient.” I laughed as she reached for me, rolling the condom down my length and making me hiss just from that brief contact alone.
“You have no idea. But to be fair, you just spent like six hours teasing me downstairs.”
“It was ten minutes.”
“You’re just lucky that I’m not a vindictive person,” she quipped, and then she pushed me down onto the mattress, straddling my hips.
I moved my hands up her body, tracing every soft curve I could reach. “You’re so beautiful,” I told her honestly.
She smiled down at me, and then she raised her hips and notched the head of my cock at my core.
My breath caught in my throat as she slowly sank down onto my length. My hands gripped her hips, helping her as I fought the urge to slam myself inside her. She was tight, and her pussy gripped my shaft in a way that had me fighting to keep control.
Reece paused as she panted. “Wow, you’re…that feels incredible.”
“You’re so tight, baby. It’s…it’s been a while. I don’t know if I can…”
