Hardy frowned, turning to his woman.“Are yousure?”
“Yes.They’re my favoriteflowers, and I’m named after a flower.I’m going to continue thetradition.”
“Okay, when they ask whonamed them, I’m blaming you.”
“I always expected youto.”
Two hours later, Rose was staying thenight just to make sure there were no complications.“I’m going toget some of the guys,” Hardy said.
“Okay, we’ll be waiting.”Rose smiled up at him.
Leaning down, he kissed her hard.“Marry me.”

“Marry me again, and thistime we’re going to have the wedding you always wanted.”
Rose chuckled.“Go and get the guys.Iwant them to see our babies.”

Six monthslater
Rose stared across the yard of theclubhouse. They had just gotten back from church after she andHardy renewed their vows.Babies were everywhere, and The Skullswere expanding like never before.Fighter and Ink had earned theirpatches, and now it was just up to Adam, Twisted, and Wicked. She’dnot seen much of the other bikers, but so much had been going on inher life.
She and Hardy held one of theirdaughters in their arms.It had been a long six months. They hadn’theard from Gash in all that time, not even before she gave birth. There were times she knew Hardy was troubled by the absent biker, but there was nothing either of them could do.
“Well, wife of mine, howare you?”Hardy asked.
“I’m happy.”
“Come on, I want to gosomewhere,” Hardy said.
She followed him out of the clubhousein her modest wedding dress.Hardy had insisted that she wearwhite. They made their way toward the church graveyard.
“Hardy, what’s going on?”Rose asked.
“We’re starting again.A newbeginning and that means we have to put the past to rest.”Hardyopened the gate, and they entered the graveyard. She wasn’t a fool, and knew exactly where he was leading her.“It’s time for us to saygoodbye.”
They went toward the woman’sgraveyard, and Rose stared at the name, along with the unborn childthat had also been lost.Hardy had demanded at the time that therebe two plots.
Rose stared at the two gravesexpecting to have some kind of anger, or fear, or sadness. She feltnothing. This was all part of her past. She and Hardy were closerthan ever before.
“Do you want to sayanything?”he asked.
“No.”She rested her head againsthis shoulder.“It seems so long ago now.A distantmemory.”
“It was the hardest part ofmy life.I hated myself, and if I’m honest, I still hate myself attimes.”
“Don’t, Hardy. We’re happy, andwe’re a family.”She took a deep breath.“Thank you for givingHardy and me a chance. You don’t know how you’ve helped us, and Idon’t know why I’m thanking you, but thank you.”
