She thought about what to reply.

‘There is no finer sight in the world than you standing naked in the middle of my lounge… texting another man,’ Bear said.

She looked up to see him leaning against the doorway, holding his phone in his hand.

She laughed. ‘Oh shush, you know he would worry if I’m not there, just like you would.’

He grinned. ‘It’s fine. He’s just texted me too. He knows how I feel for you. He wants to know if I’m OK as he clearly thinks you’ve gone home with a complete stranger and abandoned me. Shall I tell him?’

‘Let’s tell them tomorrow at breakfast, knowing Heath he’d be round here with a bottle of champagne to celebrate if we tell him now. Reply vaguely but positively. We don’t want him to come round with a bottle of beer to commiserate you.’

Bear started typing away on his phone and Meadow did the same.

I’ve had the best night. I’ll bring him to breakfast tomorrow so you can meet him.

Heath was quick to reply.Isn’t that a bit soon? What about Star, we should make introductions slowly.

Meadow smiled.Star will love him and you will too. Trust me.

She tossed her phone back into her bag and turned back to Bear who was watching her with a smile.

‘What did you tell him?’ Meadow said.

‘That I was having a great night.’

Meadow laughed, walking back over to him and slipping her arms around him. ‘Oh he’ll probably guess, I told him I was bringing my wonderful man to breakfast tomorrow to meet him. Let’s hope he has the decency to stay away. Now, why don’t you take me back to bed?’

‘Why don’t I take you right here?’ Bear said, kissing her.

‘Oh I’d like that very much.’

He shuffled her back against the wall and pressed a condom into her hand before his hands started exploring and caressing her.

‘You wanted me to make love to you in that corridor, let’s go back there,’ Bear said, switching the bedroom light off, although light was still coming in from the lounge. ‘I started kissing you like this,’ he kissed her neck, trailing his mouth ever so slowly down to her bare shoulder. She cupped the back of his head, tilting her own head back to give him access.

‘Bear!’ she said, softly.

‘And then you put your leg around my hip,’ Bear said, hooking her knee and wrapping it around him, then kissing her again on the mouth. ‘And then you slowed things down.’

‘What would you have done if I hadn’t?’

‘Well I wouldn’t have undressed you, not there in front of everyone, but certain items would have needed to be removed, so I might have pushed your dress down slightly so I could do this.’

He bent his head and kissed her breast with the slightest of touches but it made her desperate for more. He moved his mouth across her breast, slipping her nipple into his mouth which made her cry out.

‘Then I would probably have removed your knickers, so I could do this,’ Bear said, slipping his hand between her legs, making that sensation build in her stomach, making every nerve in her body come alive as the feeling grew and then suddenly exploded through her, causing her to shout out noises she had never made before.

She clung to him, trying to catch her breath.

‘And I would have kissed you to drown out those noises, but here, well, I love to hear it.’

‘And then what would you have done?’

Bear took the condom from her and put it on. ‘Well I didn’t have one of these in the corridor, another reason why sex would probably have been a bad idea, but if I had, then I might have picked you up like this.’

He lifted her and she wrapped her arms and legs around him and he moved inside her, making her gasp against his lips as he pinned her against the wall.

There were no more words after that, there was no need as he held her tight, moving against her slowly, kissing her leisurely as if he had all the time in the world. He dropped his mouth to her throat, giving her gentle kisses there too. He started getting faster and that feeling built in her quickly, fizzing through her body and then bubbling over like a bottle of champagne, her body trembling as their groans mingled on their lips.
