While I was kissing her, all the club problems disappeared. Everything that seemed important before I walked in this room, disappeared. I felt safe. I felt whole. And most of all, I felt like I could die a happy man with her kissing me like this.
It wasn’t rushed or demanding. It was something I never did— soft, gentle, and passionate.
I had never made love to a woman, but if I was going to make love to a woman I’d be kissing her just like this.
Her hands landed on my shoulders, and she pushed me backwards, her hands running over my body, and nipped my neck. Before her emerald vivid eyes locked with mine.
“You’ll be the death of me Cage Hurley,” she whispered, and I didn’t know it. Perhaps if I had known there was a chance that sentence would come true, then maybe I would have left that room, left her, instead I kissed her with one thought going through my head; I’d kill for her. I’d die for her and one day I’d lock her down as mine and mine alone.
Chapter Thirty Two
CAGE
The faint smell of daisies and strawberries had my eyes opening. She was asleep on my arm. I tucked her blonde hair behind her ear. Can’t remember ever sleeping in the same bed as a woman, when I hadn’t fucked them the night before.
I kissed her forehead, only to cause her to stir on my arm. Her eyes fluttering open, and those vivid emerald eyes, I was fucking reminded how captivating Autumn was.
“You busy today?” My hand was still on the side of her head.
She slowly shook her head.
“Good. I’ve got somewhere I want to take you.” I kissed her forehead before getting up.
“Where are you going?” she said, as I picked up my shirt from the floor.
“Got an errand to do for the club before I can take you out.”
She groaned. “Why did you even ask if I was busy when you are?”
I grinned, giving her a wink. “Shower and get dressed. I’ll be an hour.”

“Yo Wild.” I banged on his office door. He was the Secretary and Treasurer of the club and I was about to make a cash withdrawal.
I pushed open his door, he was sitting there behind his chair, glasses on doing book work.
“What do you want Cage?” he asked looking up. “If it is about this week’s pay, they’re in the safe.”
“Nah I need a withdrawal.”
He arched his eyebrows at me. “Thought you didn’t want or need that money?” He quote my exact words that I had used.
“Changed my mind.” When you do time in prison the club pays you a large figure when you get out. I hadn’t touched mine. Didn’t need it. Was still earning weekly, so everything was covered. But now I knew what I wanted to spend it on. So I wanted the cash.
Wild pushed the chair back and went to one of the seven safes. “How much you want?”
“All of it.”
He gave me a bewildered look. “What you buying?”
I grinned. He would find out all in good time and when he did, so would the rest of the club and they would all know, that when it came to Autumn— I took care of her now.
Autumn
Okay. I hated secrets or surprises. When Cage told me to meet him here, I at the very least expected him to be here. But he wasn’t. So I stood out the front of the car dealership. The rain started to come down, and I checked my phone again, making sure it was here I was meant to meet him- and it was.
So with the rain getting heavier I headed inside. I swear these cars could blind someone. They were that shiny.
