He got up and walked towards me. I started to breathe heavily as he raised one of my wrists. He looked at the rope burn. And then he lifted my wrist and gently kissed it.

Before locking his eyes with mine. “I’ll make this right, babe. You don’t have to trust me. I’ll earn it. Now you need a good night's sleep, in a bed.”

I felt all emotions at once and then shook my head. “I can’t go to my bed. Not after…” I watched him understand and the rope burns made sense to him.

“Come back to the club.”

“Why?”

“Because I want you too.”

I clenched my eyes shut. “Okay,” I said one word, and I had no idea how much that one word would impact my life, and Tyson’s. It basically would define our love story.

I watched Tyson clip his glocks into his holsters and I felt scared but it wasn’t coming from him. It was coming from me. I was feeling my own fear…

“You’ll be safe right?” I nervously asked. We were back at the clubhouse. Reaper was actually happy to see but demanded answers to my bruises. To which Tyson said he was handling. We hadn’t spoken about it.

Tyson had this smirk when he stood back up after putting a knife in his ankle holster.

“Babe, if there is one thing I’m good at, it’s doing the shooting and not getting shot.”

I gripped his hands and allowed him to pull me to my feet.

“I’m used to mum and sisters being this upset from…”

I stopped his words as I planted a kiss on his lips.

“What was that for?” he asked when I pulled back.

“I want you thinking clearly, not thinking of the past.” I clenched his hands. “I’m your future, anyway. So just focus on getting this business handled.”

He gently cupped my bruised face. “That you are,” and he kissed me. “Let’s go, you sure you don’t mind hanging out with my sisters and most likely Brad.” He grumbled the last bit.

“Yes, Tyson.” I grinned and linked my hand with his as we walked out.

The club was busy. Men looked to be waiting for Tyson. One gave him a heads-up gesture, he had a bald head and Viking axes on his neck. The man was unique.

“You must be the famous Aurora.” He gave me a friendly smile, but he wasn’t friendly. Tyson stepped away to talk to Reaper. Leaving me with Axe.

“You don’t have to be worried,” I spoke to him, and he looked back at me. “His mind is on for tonight.”

He looked down at his drink before looking at me. “I know my best mate and his mind is fully on tonight. You should stay with Hannah and Eve tonight.”

“Why are you acting like Tyson's mind being on the job like it is a bad thing?” I questioned him but at the same time. Tyson was back…. Wait no Viper was back.

“Let's go. Reaper is coming, so is Brad.” He said to Axe.

Viper snaked an arm around my waist and kissed the top of my head. He pulled back, but I clenched either side of his cut, bringing him back to me.

“Be focused.”

He didn’t give me a cocky line or a smirk. He was clearly already focused. The boys were leaving the clubhouse. So I let Viper go, watching him walk from the clubhouse and I knew it might take me a while to get Tyson back out.

“Aurora!”

I looked at the swinging door to the two blondes.
