Page 26 of Viper's Claim

I lowered my phone.

“You must be related to Tyson,” I stated.

“Fuck is that tattooed on my forehead? Couldn’t think of a worse tattoo.” He casually walked towards me and then clicked his fingers. “I would look worse than my twin and his facial tattoos.”

Dee scoffed but didn’t say anything.

Then the stranger extended a hand. “Easton, you can call me East and I am here to see my cousin. But I’m damn sure that isn’t tattooed on my head.”

I put my phone down, shaking his hand. “Aurora.”

“You look familiar, Aurora.”

“Impossible.” Dee snapped. “Viper not in here.”

East gestured his head at Dee. “Talks like my brother. Grunts like cavemen.”

Demon didn’t say anything, but it did make me grin.

“So you must be a… Wilson?”

“Johnston.” He corrected me. “Are you Demon’s woman?”

I froze. Once a long time ago I had a reply different from the one I was about to give.

“Why the fuck are you in here?”

I tensed up. Viper.

“If it isn’t my charming cousin,” East turned to look at Viper. Which I couldn’t do. “If you must know, I'm meeting the woman who stole Demon’s heart.”

“I’m getting a beer.” Demon threw his spanner down and left the garage.

I sighed. “Excuse me.”

“Oh he is touchy isn’t he?” East said to me or Viper I wasn’t sure. But he followed me out. “Must take a special woman to charm a man like him.”

I glanced back and Viper’s expression was cold, distant. His normal Viper side.

“It’s not me.” I glanced down and then back up, “He won't tell me who she is, but….” I looked towards the woman walking towards us. “Scarlett?”

I felt my stomach clench, tighten and squeeze.

“Mouse, why are you out of the car?” East said.

Tears filled my eyes. But I couldn’t form a word.

“Aurora…” she said softly.

I blinked and tears fell and then I just started walking towards her, then straight past her.

“Aurora!”

“Mouse, you know her?” East said to my sister. The same one that left. The same one that just walked away from me and dad.

Pixie had just pulled into the lot. Great timing.

I got in her car before she got out.
