“Goodbye Tyson. I’m sure I’ll see Viper in the morning.”
I got up. My hand went to the door to open it fully and leave.
“Why aren’t you running from me?” He asked me, my back turned to him.
“Because I love you,” I looked over my shoulder. “Even if you can’t love me right now. I’ll keep believing in you, Tyson. Because I know how you feel. Viper is just a side of you. But you’ll let me in. When you are ready.”
With that said.
I opened the door and left.
I curled into a ball on my bed. Letting the tears run down my cheeks. When I heard the bedroom door open.
“Miss me Rors.” Ashley’s voice a deep rumble through the quiet room and I sobbed. As fear captured me, under such a tight grip that I couldn’t move or fight him.
I jumped awake. A cold sweat covered my body. My breathing was sharp.
“You have night terrors.”
I looked across to see Eve sitting on the drawers.
“You’ve been shaking since I walked in.” She stated like it was normal to sit in people's rooms doing an Edward Cullen. My hand went to my heart.
“Why are you in my room?” I managed to get out.
“Because I thought you lied and had left. But like always you keep your word,” her lips twitched up. “I really admire that of you.”
I threw the blankets back.
“There is nothing to admire about me.”
I was nothing but weak. Unwanted and a thing that could easily be discarded. I was used to the loneliness, after all. It was how I had lived my whole life.
I looked back at Eve, who is looking at me as if I’m her idol or something.
“What can I help you with Eve?” I asked as I grabbed a singlet and skirt from my chest of drawers when she moved her legs.
“I overhead you and my brother.”
I looked at her blankly.
“I don’t know what you are talking about.
She nodded her head with a large grin.
“Oh, you know what I’m talking about.”
She jumped down from the dresser.
“I’m heading out to check out these new nightclubs that the club is thinking of purchasing to pump cash through.”
She openly shared the details of the club's inner workings with me.
“We still haven’t found a name to put down. So it isn’t linked back to the club. But, we will. And I’m to check it out, want to come?”
“Is it just you and me?” I questioned.
“Yeah.” She scoffed. “Hannah is too busy with wedding planning. Which I have to help her with later tonight. Picking out the maid of horror dress.”
