“Why?”
“To fuck you raw.” He leans against the post.
I giggled. Knowing he was just playing with me.
“Led the way.”
I followed behind him.
“You know. Scarlett never explained your and her weird interaction?” he looked over his shoulder back at me.
Well if Scarlett hadn’t told him. I wasn’t going to.
He slid the porch door open, and I just followed him to the garage.
“This is our holiday house. Mom and dad are in the States handling some shit for the club. So we thought we might come and visit Uncle Reaper.”
“More likely to cause trouble in his town. In case you need back up.” I replied.
“Damn girl. You already know us too well.” He pulled over the garage door. “My lady first.”
“Real charmer aren’t you.” I shoved his shoulder playful and walked in.
The smell of grease hit me first, lingering with cigarettes and whiskey.
“Yo boys,” East shouted and turned the music down.
I noticed two men looking back at us. They were working on a classic.
“This is Aurora.” He lowered his arm in front of me as if presenting a prized jewel. “And Aurora, that's Kingston, he’s the cave grunt and my twin who is the ugly one. Weston.”
“West and East.” I looked between them. “Hits you both perfectly.”
“Why do you say that?” West basically shouted at me. As if ready to defend something, his pride maybe?
“Yin and Yang,” I said as I walked towards him and Kingston. “But both are more loyal to each other.”
I looked at the motor of the car, then at Kingston.
“Replacing the cube or fixing it?”
I ignored Weston's surprised look at my statement.
“Fixing.”
I nodded my head. “Good. They don’t make them like this anymore.”
“Fuck she sounds like Kingston.” West wiped his hands on his pants. “This is a heap of junk, that he,” pointing at Kingston. “won’t ever fix. Yo East. Need a word.”
“Kingston. Be nice.” East said before leaving with his twin.
Only silence fell between Kingston. About ten minutes passed, and I watched him. When he needed the next tool. I handed it to him. He didn’t say thank you, or act surprised that I knew he needed it.
I had grown up with Demon working on cars. I had a rough idea of what was needed.
The car had no roof. No seats. It was basically just a block.
But I saw the number on the car.
