I knew now she wouldn’t be able to say another word. Well, I was hoping she would manage to say one word. My name.

“We are keeping sticking to the plan. I’m not fucking you or making love to you tonight.” I kissed the top of her breast. “But you are going to come for me tonight.”

“It’s day time,” she gritted out, and then her hand tightened around my arm, while my fingers kept working.

“Fine. You are going to come for me today then.” She had corrected me like that would make me stop. My other hand went and pulled her grip off my arm. And then I put both her hands above her head, locking them under my hand.

Her breaths were coming out shorter, her eyes clamped shut. I could feel she was nearly there, and I wanted to see it.

“Sweetheart, open your eyes.” I kept the same speed but she didn’t open her eyes. I knew I was going to have to be firmer with her. “Amber, I want to see you come. Open your eyes. Now.”

Had I lost my power over her? Would she still listen? Her eyes slowly opened, and she looked up at me. I couldn’t stop the smile that spread across my face.

I kissed her forehead. “Good girl. You ready to finish?” I knew if I picked up the speed just a little bit, she would be clenching around my fingers. And fuck, I wanted to feel that.

I saw the panic in her eyes. She was anxious, maybe even frightened. It was like I could feel her emotions.

“I’m right here. You need to trust me.” I kissed her lips just slightly and pulled back. “Do what you’ve always done, give yourself up to me.” I kept the speed in and out of her, her back was arching, her breathing was short. I knew she was nearly there, she was the one holding herself back, I could feel it.

She slowly nodded, “Okay. I trust you.” And she meant it. She was trusting me with her body.

I couldn’t help but kiss her. She had no idea how happy that made me. Her trusting me with her body was one step in the direction of her loving me again.

I was getting so lost in kissing her and her kissing me back, like she loved me, that I had slowed the speed. And then I realized what I was doing and pulled my lips back from her. She had been kissing me like she had been the one needing me for the last six years, when we both knew it was the other way around.

She didn’t need me.

She never had.

But I needed her.

And I was going to be selfish and do something I knew I shouldn’t, and that was try and get her to love me again. I knew I was bad for her life and Jack’s. Still I was a greedy bastard and I had never loved anyone. Until I met her and I got dependent on her. Then what does she go and do? She gave me a son.

Just thinking about that nearly made me forget about our plan, and I wanted to take her now. Be inside her as she came. Feel her clench around me.

I had started to take my desperate need to be inside her out on her with my fingers.

I kissed down her neck, and I could feel she was ready now. “Do you remember the rule, sweetheart?” I kissed across her breast. And she didn’t answer. “I need to hear you say it.”

She moved her arms that my hand was keeping trapped. I smiled. She wanted to touch me.

“Please, let me touch you,” she begged, her voice waving with pleasure and need.

“Tell me the rule.”

“I come when you tell me to and I say your name.” She moved her arms again and this time, I removed my hand. Her hands were on me and quickly locked around my neck. “Jax, will you fuck me after this? Because I want you.”

“My fingers not good enough?” I slowed down the speed just slightly so she could speak.

She shook her head. “I want you, inside me, like how you used to, before…” She gasped, I hadn’t meant to but her saying that, had caused me to increase the speed.

“Before what?” I needed to know what she was thinking. Was she only giving me a once off? Was this my one shot with her? “Before what?” I repeated, getting panicked.

“Before you leave.”

I looked down at her, frowning. “What?” I slowed the rhythm. What did she mean leave? Was she kicking me out? “You want me to go?”

“No. That is exactly what I don’t want.” She looked at me alarmed. “Did you really think I’d kick you out? Like use you for sex and then kick you out?”
