“Find My Friends. We all have it switched on.”
“Ah.”
“Are you not going to introduce me to your hot daddy?”
“Jason!”
Sebastian was chuckling, so thankfully hadn’t taken it the wrong way. He loved a guy who took charge in the bedroom, but he wasn’t into the whole daddy or domination thing.
“This is Sebastian. We were just about to leave.”
“You’ve still got half your drink left,” Jason said, plonking himself down in front of them.
“What happened to your bear?”
“Sucked him off in the toilets. Then I lost interest.”
Charlie sighed and gave an apologetic look at Sebastian, who seemed amused. Charlie loved Jason, but he had absolutely no filter.
“So, what are your intentions with my friend?”
“Jason!”
“I mean, he has a python between his legs, but he’s a big old bottom.”
Kill me now!Charlie dropped his head onto the table in despair.
“That won’t be a problem,” said Sebastian with a slight growl.
Charlie’s head snapped up. Sebastian looked like he wanted to take Charlie right now. Jason had that grin back on his face.
“You guys up for a third?”
“Jason!”
Jason laughed and stood up. He leaned in to kiss Charlie on the cheek and whispered in his ear.
“I want all the deets when you can walk again.”
Charlie felt his face burning as Jason laughed and left them to it. Sebastian looked amused.
“Is he always like that?”
“Yes. It’s a combination of ADHD and alcohol.”
Sebastian laughed like he understood. He then downed his drink, making it clear their night was just getting started.
CHAPTER 4
SEBASTIAN
It took all of Sebastian’s restraint not to pounce on Charlie the moment the door of his hotel suite closed. When his sister had suggested he go out and get laid, he didn’t think it would happen, and the last thing he expected was for this wonderful young man to literally run straight into him. After Henry, a fifteen-year age gap should bother him, but from the couple of hours they’d spent together, he knew Charlie was more mature than his years. He was younger than Henry by a couple of years, but the maturity difference was decades. Charlie hadn’t shared why he came across as older than he was. Sebastian guessed he’d been forced to grow up quickly, but tonight wasn’t the time to get into all that. They lived thousands of miles apart. This was going to be a one-off, and he was going to make the most of it.
“Jesus, how much does this place cost a night?” asked Charlie, looking round the suite in awe.
It was a great hotel which catered to a wealthier clientele, but Sebastian stayed here because it was a five-minute walk from his office in Mayfair and was a sizeable space for him to relax after a busy day. He was a big guy and liked space. He also liked to pace around whilst he thought things through. It was probably why he could smash ten thousand steps a daywithout even trying. He didn’t want to come across as though this was nothing, but it was. Sebastian had more money than he’d ever need, but he’d worked hard for it and he knew what it was like to have nothing. He wasn’t sure of Charlie’s personal circumstances and didn’t want to make assumptions. The fact he lived in Soho meant he wasn’t poor, but he was sharing with four other guys who sounded amazing. Sebastian craved a friendship group like that. On social media, he saw gay guys he’d been to school with hanging out in large groups, going to festivals and on holiday together. Sebastian had never had that. He had friends, and they’d all met at his birthday or some other celebration and got on well, but the common denominator was Sebastian. The only exception was a group of single gay friends in New York, although they were mostly ten years younger, so he felt like an outsider, but that was on him; they’d done everything to make him feel welcome.
“Not sure. Work pays for it,” he said, keeping it vague.
