I step into the shower and scrub my body. My cheeks begin to burn as I think about the way they worked my body to heights I hadn’t reached in three years. They must’ve had a lot of practice in the sex department to be able to rock my world as good as they did and give me more orgasms than I’ve ever had in my entire life. Well, other than my previous night with Ace.
Not that Bash is a bad lover, he just doesn’t have sex with me with my needs in mind. Most times, I don’t ever come because he doesn’t last long enough for us both to do so. I know, why am I still marrying him? He loves me, and I haven’t found anyone else yet that loves me the way he does. He has some flaws that I’m sure will change once we are married, but I can’t give up on him just yet.
For the first few days it hurt, my whole body was sore. It didn’t bother me as much as it should, because I like to be reminded of why the pain is there. I should feel horrible for what happened, but Bash said that it wasn’t cheating unless we were married. He thinks that only applies to him, of course, but why can’t I have a little fun, too? It’s not like I’m going to make this an everyday thing. I don’t even know who those guys really are. Except for Karter, I have a feeling he wanted me to know exactly who he was. I wonder if he is a part of The Devils of Cliffside as well.
Oh shit! That thought never crossed my mind.
“Fuck, fuck, fuckity fuck!” I yell, banging the wall as the door to the bathroom comes crashing open.
“What the fuck is all that noise in here? Is someone murdering you or something?” Gaia has always been extra and right now is no exception.
“If somebody was murdering me, you’d find out soon enough because you’d be next, stupid ass.” I yell.
“You weren’t saying that when your ass was scared of the weather and cuddled up next to me, almost in tears.” She huffs.
“Next time, I’ll let the hot dude that brought me home take me with him instead of seeking the comfort of my bestie, who’s being very mean right now.” I whine.
“What hot dude? Where were you last Friday night? You said we were gonna talk, and that’s what we are gonna do today… Talk. We need to catch up before that asshole comes back in town, and I never get to see you again.”
“Not this again, G. I don’t want to talk about him.” I whine, shutting off the shower and throwing open the curtain. “Be useful and hand me a towel, please.” It’s the least she can do instead of just standing there, waiting for me to spill the beans.
“You could just air dry.” She says, hunching her shoulders.
“Gimme the damn towel, G, or I’m gonna punch you in the face!” I wail, stomping my foot.
“You are so cute when you’re angry. Once you’re dressed, we are going out for brunch and some retail therapy.” She declares. “So, dress cute and be ready in thirty minutes, I’m hungry and need a mimosa.”
“Yeah, yeah, order me around. That’s what you’re good at, Miss Bossy Pants.”
“And don’t you forget it, bitch.” She calls over her shoulder, leaving the bathroom.
Thirty-five minutes later, I emerge from my room and waltz into the kitchen to meet G.
“You’re an evil whore, do you know that?” She gripes.
“Oh yes, I know. Perfect timing, don’t you think?.” I say, sticking my tongue out at her.
“I’m onto you. Think I’m stupid.” She mumbles. “Are you ready to go?”“Yeah, I think I am.” I say, looking around, attempting to piss her off even more. “Have you seen Auntie? She hasn’t been here lately. Do you think she has a boyfriend?”
“I sure as shit hope so. She doesn’t need to stay single forever. What the hell is she gonna do when you actually move into your castle and I leave here?” She always has to be a little shit about this. I’m just gonna ignore her ass and carry on with my day.
“So, first brunch, then shopping. Where are we having brunch?” I ask sweetly, batting my eyes at her.
“So we’re just gonna pretend I didn’t ask a question? Mhm, yeah, okay… Let’s go!” She barks. Jerking her purse off the sofa, grabbing her jacket and keys. “Guess I’m driving, too, huh.” She calls over her shoulder.
“I mean, it just sounded like you offered so, I guess you are.” I giggle.
“Fucking brat, I tell you.” She snorts. Her calling me a brat makes me think about the guy from the other morning. Who knew after one little encounter, I would come to love the nickname brat?
“What are you smiling about?”
“Well, since we are alone, I guess I can start telling you about last Friday night into early Saturday morning.” I say with a sly smile plastered on my face. “Gaia, that night topped the night from three years ago.” I gush.
“How so? I saw you leave with someone, and I just assumed it was the same guy from the first time we were there. Am I right?” She asks as we walk to her black Jetta SUV and get inside.
“No, it wasn’t him, but he came later.” I whisper, letting my thoughts carry me away once again.
“Hello! Earth to Athens! Focus and start talking.”
