“What happened, baby? Don’t tell me you went on a date with Steve."

“Or Stephen.?”

“No. Guess whom I met today."

“Who?”

“Richard… Richard Paul,”

All the girls just gave a smile, as they don’t have any interest in Richard., but they were happy for their friend.

“You know he is so good-looking and so humble. Even after reaching heights of success, he doesn’t hold up any kind of attitude.

You know he was just sitting next to me

Oh, God! I was so scared at the start, but he made me comfortable in no time. I am feeling so blessed today. Thank you, Sara, for convincing me for this dinner and also to wear this dress. I am such a lucky girl."

“Good to know. Well, now it’s late at night. I think you should sleep and let us sleep too.”

Eva noticed the time she bit her tongue between her teeth

"Oops, sorry for disturbing you all but I couldn’t hold up my excitement."

“No problem, babe, we understand, Okay, good night."

“Goodnight”

Eva changed into her nightdress when she thought about something. And she quickly went to change.

Stephen’s POV

Stephen reached his room and threw his coat in some corner of the room. The emotion he was feeling was rage and only rage.

In the morning, when I came to know that Eva was traveling in a cab, I was worried about her safety. I didn’t waste a moment and talked to my mother about this. As expected, my mom agreed, but was she sure about Eva’s reaction to this?

I told her I will manage this, and I did too

I told my chauffeur that if she refuses to use the car, then call me and tell her to talk to me. I know very well that she will never accept to talk to me and will ride in our car. And she did as Iexpected already. I was glad that she did as I wanted her to do. One more piece of news added to my good day when I came to know that we had the deal on which Steve was working.

I always trusted my baby brother’s potential, no matter how he behaves or lives his personal life, but he is a talented businessman. Dad was reluctant to give him this deal but I assured him he could do it successfully and today he proved me right. I am so very proud of him.

When dad got the news, he came to my office with Steve and celebrated the occasion. I was the one who suggested a family dinner and indirectly, I told him to take Eva along during dinner. Dad had no objection to Eva’s presence, and he informed mom about the dinner plan. Now dinner was the only thing for which I was waiting all evening

When I returned home, I picked up a new suit for dinner. I just wanted Eva to at least glance at me and appreciate my looks, but till that day, she just rewarded me with ignorance once. Sometimes I get scared recalling Steve’s words that she is really into girls, but I just shrugged off all bad thoughts as assuming things are not my style and I never work on assumptions, whether it’s my professional life or personal.

Nowadays, I take a little more time to get ready. Eva’s oblivion made me more conscious of my looks. So I got ready in one of my favorite suits and started going downstairs as momand dad were waiting for me in the living room. Mom informed me on the intercom.

When I was on the stairs, I saw Steve was teasing Eva about not congratulating him and when my girl wishedhe took her in a hug. That time I wanted to detach Eva from his arms and punch my brother’s face hard, no matter how much I love my sinking, but I do not approve of this kind of behavior with my girl. Before I could react, Eva did something unexpected. She stomped her heels on his shoes, which broke the hug, and also Steve winced in pain.

At that time, I was so proud of my baby doll. She is a complete package of beauty and talent and now I know she is bold too. I am falling more in love with her with each passing day. Every day she used to surprise me. Then I noticed her appearance. She was all dressed to kill me today. She was looking breathtakingly gorgeous. When mom and dad complimented her, I witnessed her cheeks, which were turned into a shade of pink now

However, when we reached the hotel, I saw the glint in her eyes. She was quietly observing the surroundings and her face was telling that she liked it, too.

Soon the dinner was served with some chatting in between. It was chatting for Eva and mom while dad was still talking about business. That’s the only fault we run in our blood, as we are all workaholics, and most of the time it's only business that runs in our minds

I observed Eva eats an inconsiderable amount of food, but I will change this in the coming days. My plan was clear: first won Eva’s heart After getting her consent, I will tell my decision to mom and dad and I was sure that my parents will be happy with my decision, Then they will talk with Eva and I will get married to the love of my life

When the dessert was served, I saw Eva was having it with her eyes closed. This was noticed by others as well. I was just admiring her actions—the way she took the spoon in her mouth and then ran her tongue over her lips to avoid any stain on her lips. It was turning me on. But soon my dream got a break when my jackass brother teased her about her act. That time I just wanted to hold Steve’s neck and shove his face into the desert in front, but I had to hide my genuine emotions, as it was not the right time.
