All the way she kept holding the cupcake box cautiously, Steve kept blabbering about his flings. I wanted to laugh at his childishness, as these confessions will never let Eva get close to Steve. So he is doing a favor to me

The best moment was when we stood side by side for the photo shoot, thanks to Steve for this. I saw her trembling form, held her soft hand in mine., and tried to relax her. To my relief, it worked, and Eva never left my hand.

When mom and dad arrived, Steve exchanged his place with mom, but I didn’t move an inch as I wanted her close. And my family must get used to this arrangement as soon as I will only stand beside Eva after our marriage.

The moment the photo shoot got over, she left my hand. I missed the feeling of her soft touch.

Anyhow, the party got started when Eva didn’t bring the box inside the party. I know why she was hesitating, so I bothered a little. But how could I forget about my oversmart brother?. He did his best and got the box back when we were busy chatting at Richard’s place.

When Richard went on keeping the suspense after tasting the cupcake, I observed how nervous Eva was, and that bastard was acting like he does in his stupid shows while tasting food from the contestants, making them nervous.

I was all set to beat him into pulp after my family left his place., as never wanted my girl to know my outrage

Soon Richard and Robert both started praising her cupcakes, but again Richard took me by surprise with the job offer for Eva. I don’t appreciate him staying around Eva.

Eva denied the offer within a second. It shocked me to know this as Richard was offering her a well-earning job. But when Eva started describing her reasons, I just kept admiring her. How much she loves her father

I mean, I love my parents too

But it’s a prime quality to leave your dreams just to fulfill responsibilities towards your parents, and Eva was doing exactly that.

A sudden alarm broke my thought process. Yes, I used to set an alarm for 1 in the night as Eva used to fast asleep till that time, and I used to lock her door conveniently.

I noticed her time pattern. She mostly wakes up between 1 and 2 at night to eat something, so it’s better to lock her door before that. And already assigned the job of checking up on her food basket to kathey who used to inform me before it got empty, and I used to arrange another basket. Of course, she willnot inform my family as I am paying a good amount to her. Who doesn’t enjoy making extra money, so kathey agreed to this.

I slowly exited my room and reached in front of her room. I slowly locked the room. A sudden memory of her cupcakes. She told dad she made some extra, so she wished to taste one. The next minute, I was in the kitchen tasting the delicious cupcake. Well, it’s an amazing thing for me, as I never enjoyed having sweets; rather, I avoided eating sweets.

Soon I was standing in front of the fridge, where the beautiful tray of cupcakes was waiting for me. I picked up one and reached the dining table when I took the first bite of it. I moaned as the flavors of the cupcake melted in my mouth.

And then I didn’t want to stop. I relished all the cupcakes in a row and then left for my room. Eva is a superb cook, and now I also agree with Richard. I didn’t even remember after so long I ate so many sweets.

Soon I also called it a night, expecting to meet Eva in my dreams too

The next morning when I reached the dining room, I found my family waiting for me

I wished them and soon we all got busy in our breakfast

As the breakfast got ended, dad asked mom

“Rose, now don’t try my patience. Just bring the cupcakes made by Eva. I am eager to taste it.

I hardly stopped myself from choking on the water I drank that time. As there are, no cupcakes left.

Mom ordered kathey to bring the cupcakes. But Eva beat her in that

“Wait, I will bring it for you all.”

“Today I will have two of them, “Steve started whining like a child
