Steve gave a charming smile to her from the moment he came to know about Stephen’s feelings for Eva. He was the happiest one, as his best friend was going to be a member of his family soon, and it delighted him.

“Hey sunshine, how are you? Look what I brought for your food and so much food!

“But why this much, I mean I...”

“No, you definitely need it; see, last night you skipped your dinner and then your midnight meal too, so you must be famished till now. “

Eva smacked his arm for his teasing

Stephen enters the room with a beautiful bouquet in his hands. He reached Eva and passed it to her.

William smirked at his actions, whereas Steve was grinning like he was watching some fairy tale romance.

Despite being shocked at his gesture, Eva held the bouquet and murmured a small thank you to Stephen.

Stephen asked nothing, just gave a nod to her

William noticed Rose’s sleeping figure. He slowly tapped her shoulder.

Rose woke up with a jerk. “what happened? Is she fine?

Eva glowed at her concern for her.

“I am fine; don’t worry,” she answers.

Rose gave a warm smile at her. But Steve was eager to tease her mom

“I am very disappointed with you, mom, You stayed here to take care of Eva but look how you are still sleeping."

Rose glared at him and left for the washroom. Soon Steve arranged breakfast for Eva.

The whole Smith family had their breakfast in the hospital room only. Eva was getting very emotional, as they were doing all this to make her feel good.

After breakfast, Rose connected the call to Michael, as she had already spoken to him last night and assured him that Eva was fine.

Eva got very emotional while talking to this dad. Michael was trying to comfort her by saying sweet things. After disconnecting the call, Eva sobbed hard, hugging Rose, and Rose kept consoling her.

After breakfast, William and Steve left for further work, but Stephen was sitting in the room. Rose smirked at his condition, as she already knew the truth now.

“Stephen, why are you here? I mean, the doctor is going to discharge her in the evening. You can carry on with your work."

"No, mom, I didn’t have any important work today, and don’t worry, I will work from here.”

“Well, I am very impressed by you. I always dreamed of you behaving like this with your wife, a total caring man. Proud of you, boy."

Eva got confused by Rose’s comment, whereas Stephen got suspicious of his secret. He already told Steve and Richard to keep his secret safe with them. Till the right time comes

At lunchtime, Steve again arrived with food boxes in his hand. The hospital provided meals to patients, but Rose refused to give that food to Eva, and so she made her cooks prepare a healthy meal for Eva.

They completed the lunch by chatting in between; an unexpected guest visit surprised them all

Mrs. Thompson and Elena were standing in the room with a bouquet in their hands.

Mrs Thompson and Elena greeted all of them. And then forwarded the flowers to Eva

Eva took it with a small thank you

They started inquiring about her health and rose kept updating them on her health condition
