“Gideon.” He holds out his other hand, palm up, and just as he’d intended, Gideon cannot resist. Gideon pauses for a minute, reaches to turn off the shower, and then grabs two purple towels from a pile on a short bench.

“Are you serious? We’re going to do this now? Holy Fuck. Yes!” Luca is out of the shower and dripping across the floor without his towel, leaving both his partners standing staring after him.

Nix can’t help but giggle at the sight of his bouncy red butt jiggling out the door at top speed, and Gideon just sighs. “I suppose I should have expected that.”

“He keeps you on your toes, Gideon.” Nix shakes his head fondly.

“That he does.” Gideon dries Nix off and wraps him up. He brushes his hand through Nix’s dark hair and leans in to kiss him softly, with reverence. The banked fire in his gut bursts into flames, and Nix lets the towel drop. He sucks Gideon’s tongue into his mouth and lavs the small bite he’d made before with his own.

“Gideon, please.” He wants to feel Gideon’s skin on his so badly, so he takes the neckline of his Quest tank top in his hands and rends it in two, not slowing down until he’s got those sexy-as-fuck sweatpants all the way down around his ankles as well.

He’s about to step in even closer for that full-body, skin-on-skin experience when Luca pops his head around the door frame. “What is keeping you guys, let’s go!”

Nix’s heart is lighter than air, even though his dick is throbbing in time with his heartbeat, and the insides of his thighs are slick with arousal. “Guess we should go, eh?”

Gideon rolls his eyes and grabs him up under his butt, and all Nix can do is hang on.

The large room is dim, but Luca has turned on a small, lavender-colored lamp. His bed is a veritablenestof blankets that smells mostly like Gideon and Luca, but there are overtones of pine and cinnamon, basil and black currant, and spiced rum andvanilla. It’s all of them together, and Nix’s wolf loves it, even if there might be a tinge of sad mocha and the petrichor from Gideon’s angry lightning strike.

Nix realizes they must have lain here when they were mending their rift.

Feeling a pang of sadness at causing the disagreement, he looks up into Gideon’s eyes, only to find understanding there. “We are good now, kitten. It will be okay. Do you believe me?”

Nix does. He trusts Gideon to know his own mind,andLuca’s, for that matter. It is a relief, and maybe because he entrusts his heart to these two men, he can trust them to help carry his burdens.

“I do. I believe in you, Gideon.”

Gideon’s eyes widen slightly as he catches the minute difference.

Believinginsomeone means trust in action and deed, for present actions and future ones. It is more than just trust in someone’s truth, it is faith in their spirit.

“You, too, Luca.”

Luca had his sweet mouth open to ask,me too, but Nix managed to beat him to it, so now he just crosses his very nice arms with a huff. “Can we fuck now?”

Nix laughs out loud, and the relief is freedom, so he throws himself at Luca, taking them both to the bed. They both look at Gideon expectantly.

“Don’t rush me. I am thinking about how I want to enjoy you both and how we can give our omega his bites.”

Nix gives a full-body shiver.

“Oh,fuck. Say that again, please.”

Gideon is too smart to play dumb. “Our omega.”
