I could hear her gritted teeth as she spat out each word.

She is pissed.

“And I will be out in one minute,” he replied before looking down at his prominent bulge. “Actually get started without me. I need a couple minutes to finish up.”

I smiled knowing that if she was listening on the other side of the door, she heard me and knew exactly what was going on in his office.

“Omari!” The indignation in her tone was evident. “You—”

“Kim, get started without me. You know how to do that. I’ll be there in a minute.”

I bit my lip to keep from laughing as her footsteps stomped away.

“I can’t go out there like this,” he pointed out as he stood. Leaning down, he planted a soft kiss against my lips. “This is what you do to me.”

I reached between us and felt his dick. “I wish there was time for more.”

He crashed his lips into mine and seconds later, abruptly pulled away. He took a couple steps back. “I have to go. I have work to do. And you are so…” He paused, holding my gaze. “Addicting.”

“Maybe you can come over later and we can continue this conversation,” I said, slipping off his desk and straightening my skirt.

“I would love to. How late is too late?”

I scrunched my face as if I’d just remembered I ran a whole business. “I’ll be at The Cask all night. But what about Wednesday? I’m supposed to be off on Wednesdays.”

“Wednesday?” He frowned, straightening his jacket sleeves. “I have some business to take care of Wednesday night, too. I don’t know how long it’ll take, but maybe afterward?”

Mm hmm. Olivia is business?I tried not to roll my eyes as I approached him.Likely story.

“Handle your business,” I told him. “I’ll figure something out.” I reached for his jacket and closed it. I eyed the front of his pants. “Your print is still poppin.”

He laughed incredulously. “What?” He shook his head. “Nah, don’t say it like that.”

“Why?” I asked, trying to take off his jacket. “You don’t like that?”

“No, I don’t,” he laughed. “What are you doing? As much as I want to—and I really want to—I can’t do this with you right now. And I’m not going to calm down if you keep looking at me like that.”

“Like what?”

Licking his lips, he shook his head. “I need to figure out how to hide it—why are you smiling? This isn’t funny? What are you doing with my jacket?”

Once it was off his body, I took the arms of his jacket and tied them around his waist. I turned it at an angle. “This is the best way to hide it until you calm down a bit.”

He laughed. “This is drawing more attention to it.”

“Well, what are your other options?”

He looked at the time. “Shit, I guess this is all I got.”

I strolled to the door with him on my heels. He grabbed my arm and spun me around. “Just because I can’t see you tonight or tomorrow night doesn’t mean I don’t want to see you. Thursday night? Can we make Thursday night work?”

“My bar is open already, so I have to work,” I reminded him. Pushing up on my toes, I kissed him. “Maybe another time.”

“No maybe. Definitely another time.” His mouth covered mine as we momentarily gave into our desires. He groaned pulling out of the kiss. “I’m going to call you once I get done with everything tonight.”

Smirking, I turned around and opened his office door. The moment I rounded the corner, Kim Lowe was glaring at me. I flashed her a huge smile as I sauntered toward the exit.

“Are we connected to the call, Kim?” Omari asked.
