We laughed.

“But to answer your question, I always thought an escape room would be the best first date. Because it tells you so much about the person and your compatibility.”

“An escape room?” His tone was comically disturbed.

“Yes!”

“You want to be willingly locked in a room for no reason?”

I couldn’t stop laughing. “It’s more to it than that,” I argued between giggles.

He made a disgruntled noise. “This is a concern. I still like you, but this is a concern.”

I laughed harder.
