“If you don’t get it, she’ll come back,” I pointed out.
“I know,” he sighed. Pulling his finger from my wet slit, he licked it clean. “Next time I want it straight from the source.” Before I had a chance to respond, he picked up the phone. “Hello? Yeah, let me call you right back.” He hung up the phone and frowned. “I think I have about ten minutes.”
“No, it’s okay.” I shook my head, fastening my pants. “You have your meeting soon anyway.”
He looked at the clock. “I don’t want you to leave here without me being able to take care of you.”
“And normally, I would agree with you, but Josephine is probably listening at the door right now. So put your dick away.”
Snickering, he zipped his pants. “Fine, you’re right.”
“Wait!” My eyebrows flew up. “How am I going to get out of here without Josephine seeing me?”
I saw the alarm in his head go off. “Okay wait, wait…” He nodded. “I got it. Hide under the desk. I have a plan.”
I climbed under, giggling as he smacked my ass.
Seconds later, he called Josephine on speaker phone.
“Hey, Mr. Franklin,” she answered.
“Hey, Josephine. Could you come in here for a second?”
“Of course. I’ll be right there.”
A minute later, there was a knock at the door as it opened. “Mr. Franklin?”
“Come on in.” I heard the keys clacking as if he were typing. “Would you mind taking the quarterly reports—they’re in that blue folder on the table over there—and comb bind them? I need twelve copies.”
“Yes, of course.”
It felt like two minutes had passed before the click of the door.
Tre rolled his chair back and grabbed my hands to help me up. “Okay we have a few minutes to get you out of here unseen.”
“She’s going to be there! How do you know she didn’t just feed the originals through and then went back to her desk? She’s probably already back at her desk combining the papers,” I hissed as we walked to the door.
“It takes a few minutes to comb bind and you have to stay and watch the machine…” He stopped and gave me a look. “You think I said combine, didn’t you?”
“Yes…”
“Comb bind,” he enunciated with a smile. “I need her to comb bind them. We have at least nine more minutes. Josephine’s the only one who can get the machine to do it right on the first try.”
“Ohhhhhh.” I scrunched my nose and pointed at him. “Man, I was hiding under a desk so I couldn’t hear. Don’t laugh at me!”
He had the biggest smile on his face. “I’m not.” He brought his soft lips to mine. “Call me later, okay?”
“I will.” Reaching up to pull his face to mine, I kissed him goodbye. “Have a good day.”
“It’s always a good day when I see you. But you, too.” He gave me a final squeeze before opening the door. Looking both ways, he waved me out. “Call me later,” he whispered.
I nodded so I wouldn’t be heard and then scurried toward the stairwell. I considered taking the elevator, but I didn’t want to risk Josephine catching me. I carefully opened the door next to the elevator.
And I almost made it.
“Ms. Jones?” Josephine called out to me.
Shit!
