“Uh-uh, baby girl, I'm in charge here,” he warned. “You’ll come when I'm ready for you to come, and you’ll come as many times as I want you to. Understand?”

Giving a shaky nod, her eyes dark with arousal, she stood still and he leaned in again, taking a deep breath and inhaling her scent.

Then he was on her, licking, nipping, and sucking, alternating between thrusting his tongue inside her and lavishing attention on her bud until she was writhing in his hold, pleas falling from her lips.

“Now, sunshine,” he ordered, then scraped his teeth lightly across her bundle of nerves and she fell apart.

It was only his grip on her hips that kept her standing, and she was leaning heavily against his shoulders as she rode out the wave of pleasure. As soon as he could feel her coming down from her high, he started up all over again.

“Jake, I can't,” she said, trying to pull away from him.

“What did I tell you?” he asked, swatting at her backside.

“Th-that you're in ch-charge here,” she stammered, subconsciously rocking her hips closer to his mouth, seeking more of his touch.

“That’s right, baby girl.” Smoothing his hand over the cheek he’d just tapped, he gripped her hips once again and buried his mouth between her legs.

Suckling on her bud had her coming apart again, her cries filling the steamy shower, and making him impossibly hard.

But it wasn't enough.

“One more,” he told her, and again her hips rocked toward him even as she shook her head. “One more,” he repeated, then his tongue was thrusting into her at an almost frantic pace as he shifted his hold on her hips so he could take her bundle of nerves between his thumbs.

It didn't take much to make her come a third time, and after she’d ridden out every drop of pleasure he could get from her, he allowed her to sink down so she was straddling his thighs, his erection standing alert between them.

“My turn?” she asked, eyeing him hungrily.

“Nope. Bed was next,” he told her as he stood with Alannah in his arms.

“But I didn't get to feast.” Her pouty expression made him grin, and he nipped at her bottom lip.

“I'm in charge here, baby girl, those are the rules,” Jake reminded her as he grabbed a couple of fluffy mint green towels on his way into her bedroom. “Besides, there’s no need to pout. You’ll get your turn, after all, we have the entire rest of our lives to get our fill of one another.”

The rest of their lives.

He liked the sound of that, and as he spread out a towel, and then laid his girl out on it, he realized just what a lucky man he was to be able to call Alannah his.

October 22nd

7:20 A.M.

Something wet touched her inner thigh, and Alannah moaned as warmth pooled low in her stomach.

Blinking open sleepy eyes, she smiled when that same hot, wet thing brushed her other thigh, and she saw it was Jake’s dark head between her spread legs.

“May I?” he asked, quirking a brow as his tongue darted out right above her bud which was somehow already throbbing with need despite the fact she’d woken up barely three seconds ago.

“Can't think of a better way to wake up,” she answered, voice husky from sleep.

Couldn’t think of a better way to go to sleep than what they’d done at bedtime either.

After washing every inch of her body so tenderly in the shower, then making her come on his tongue three times in a row until she thought her death certificate was going to have the embarrassment of being listed as death by orgasm, they’d made love in her bed. Only after they’d eaten dinner with Jax and come back to her room did Jake let her finally taste him. Then they’d made love again, and she’d lost count of how many times Jake had made her come before it was finally too much and she’d sunk into an exhausted slumber, secure in the knowledge that she was safe in his arms.

Forever.

That’s what he’d told her he wanted, and even though she couldn’t deny she was still a teeny little bit hurt that he’d bailed at the hospital, at least he’d worked through his fears almost immediately and been waiting for her when she got home.

Never again did she want to feel that sense of loss that had filled her soul when she watched Jake walk out of the hospital room door. That emptiness had to be a thing of the past because she was pretty sure if she had to go through it again, it would break her.
