“I can’t do that,” I tell him as I take another sip of beer.
“You can. Harper and Felix have gone as has Kimberly. Meadow is running around somewhere, no one is going to know. Except me, but I’m going to be very distracted by four beautiful women.” He chuckles.
“You saw nothing,” I tell him as I extricate myself from the group and walk over to where Issy is talking to the guy. “Hey, you ready to head home?” I say, placing my arm around Issy’s shoulder. Issy shoots daggers at me and tries to push my arm off her shoulders, but I grip on tighter. “Oh, hi, I’m Pierre, Issy’s roomie,” I say, holding out my hand to the man, who gives me a wide smile and shakes my hand.
“Hi, I’m Simon. Have we met before, you look familiar?” he asks, shaking my hand.
“I have that kind of face.” I grin.
“Are you staying with this man or coming home with me?” I turn and ask Issy.
Her mouth falls open before it shuts back up tightly.
Simon looks between the two of us awkwardly. “Issy, it was good seeing you again. Call me, we need to catch up,” he says before making a hasty retreat.
Exactly what I thought, he couldn’t handle the competition.
“What the hell do you think you are playing at?” Issy pushes out of my arms and glares at me as she places her hands on her hips.
“You looked like you were hitting it off with that guy.”
“Who, Simon? He’s friends with my sister, and he’s gay.” Oh. I’ve played this all wrong. “Bet Sam’s little friends are sad you left.”
“I’m sure Sam will keep them busy.” I grin at her.
“He always does.”
“I wasn’t interested in any of them,” I tell her.
“Really? They were beautiful and young,” she states.
“They aren’t what I want.” The anger on her face dissipates.
“Were you jealous?” she asks.
“Extremely.” I smirk as I shove my hands into my pockets. “Were you?”
Issy mulls over my question for a while before a smile forms on her face. “Extremely.”
“Fuck, Issy. I want to reach out and touch you, but I can’t.” I keep my hands in my pockets.
“Shall we get out of here?” she says.
“Yes.”
And with that, we disappear out of the club.

PIERRE
My phone rings and I reluctantly grab it, when I look down at the screen, I see it’s Harper. What the hell is she calling me for so early in the morning? Issy is naked and snuggling in my arms, she groans at the early morning wake-up call.
“Harper, it’s fucking early,” I grumble as I pick up the phone.
This gets Issy’s attention. She rolls over, grabs her phone, and stares at it before she starts cursing. Oh no. What the hell is going on?
“I know. But massive news has just dropped. There are images of Bill and Kitty in Capri together. And Bill is very handsy,” Harper explains.
