“Ain’t no worries, sis’. I’m just out here to make sure everybody copasetic. I’m ‘bout to go in and stand next to my brother. I’ll see you down there, beautiful.” He bestowed a gentle kiss on her cheek before he left me standing there alone.

When it came to niggas, I dropped them just as quick as I bagged them. This nigga next to me though… I was down bad for him. I could feel the glares from those behind me on my back, and I stood with my head held high.

Breaking down couldn’t happen at the moment, and I promised Kosha I wouldn’t show my ass. It took everything in me not to rock Zinc in his shit and get it popping right here. I was both mad and hurt. Nevertheless, I took that shit on the chin like a big girl. This wasn’t the time, but, on my mama, it was going to present itself once more, and he was gon’ feel me.

“Y’all good?” Kosha lowly asked.

“Hmph!I’m good, bestie. Let’s do this,” I said switching from a woman who cared to one not giving a fuck. If that was how he wanted to play it, so be it.

Chapter Five

ZINC

Calling for a race wasn’t my thing, but I had a lot of shit on my mind and a nigga needed to blow steam. Onyx had me fucked up, and this was the only way I could think of clearing my head. So, I sent a bird over to the Blue Flames. They were a Mexican biker gang reppin’ the east side of Graceland Heights. Once Azul said it was up, I knew the kind of day I was ‘bout to have.

Beating a nigga with Bumblebee always lifted my spirits. She was matte black and yellow and when she was told to sting, she damn sure did. Couldn’t nobody out do her pretty ass. My bitch knew she was bad, too, which was why she never let me down.

Chrome was off solidifying the happiness in his home with sis’ on their honeymoon, and the twins young asses were trying to talk me out of it. They knew how I got down. But fuck it. I needed the release, and Azul? He matched a nigga energy to the fuckin’ T. Might as well say Blue Flames was twin and ‘nem to BMG ‘cause we acted just alike. Azul got down and dirty just like I did. So, this race? This muthafucka was ‘bout to make a lot of noise. I didn’t see it going no other way. When them boys said fuck waiting and put that shit on the schedule for this afternoon, I was all for it.

The race was set at Straight Shot Countryside, away from the town folk. Muthafuckas knew when I raced to stay cautious, ‘cause if shit went left, that was on them. My name on the ticket was yo’ only warning to stand clear.

Pulling up to the location, the gang followed behind me revving up their engines letting muthafuckas know the realest niggas in the city was here. If Chrome was here, he would be advising me to take my ass home knowing I wasn’t in the right headspace. Racing while being somewhere else mentally was never a good thing. The focus needed to win wasn’t there and if a L was the cause of it, he was gon’ be pissed.

However, OG was looking out for the kid. That overprotective nigga wasn’t here which meant I didn’t have to hear all that bullshit he would be spitting right about now. I was ‘bout to let loose out this bitch. And judging by the number of blue jackets I spotted, Blue Flame and their entourage were here and ready to get it popping.

Azul pushed his way through the thick crowd, wearing a sly grin.Cocky muthafucka. That burrito munching ass nigga crossed his arms over his chest just to flex the butt of his gun. I smirked at his arrogance. Soon as I stepped off Bumblebee, the golds in my mouth along with the gold 9mm that sat in my vest was brandished. He had to know I was on the same type of timing.

“Why you two trigga happy muthafuckas always got to do this wild wild west shit?” Copper asked.

“Cop, draw the line. Litty, take the bets.”

I stepped into the middle of the road without looking back. A nigga didn’t have to. I could hear the gang boots stomping in rhythm behind me. It was time to show the fuck out and I couldn’t wait to let my bitch out to play.

“What’s good, Zinc? We good, ese?” Azul called out.

“Can’t call it, my nigga,” I threw back. I wasn’t gon’ be on no friendly shit until I walked away with that W. Right now, he wasn’t shit but a fuckin’ enemy.

“Don’t get caught in the line of fire, BMG.” A warning was given, but I had one for his ass, too.

“And I hope you know how to duck, puta.”

We both knew this was just a race for many but life or death for the riders. If we weren’t careful, only one of us was coming back. The only thing I advised was for him to stay the fuck in his lane and keep the bullshit non-fuckin’-existent. I had enough anger in my body to drop his punk ass and not think twice about it. That nigga smirked while I roughly brushed the wild locs out my face to the back.

“Y’all know what it is. Winner takes all!” Litty shouted, tossing his hand up letting the people know the pot was closed.

We both gave a nod of acknowledgement. No words were needed as we each headed back to our side of the lane to retrieve our bikes. In moments, the engines would roar, and the bullets would fly. I had no doubt in my mind about that. Oh, and one unlucky muthafucka was getting they ass dusted… or put in the dirt.

Copper drew the line while shaking her head. I knew what she was thinking, and I didn’t give a fuck. It wasn’t shit she could do about it. Hell, it wasn’t shit none of these muthafuckas could do if I was being real. My bitch got on my bad side and a nigga needed a breather. Simple.

“Fellas, I want a clean race. No guns, no fighting, no bullshit. Am I understood?” Copper stood in front of us lowkey scolding us. In fact, while she spoke, she looked directly at me instead of Azul. I wasn’t called a rowdy rider for nothing. I would stop mid race and beat yo’ ass or put a hot one in you if it seemed like I wouldn’t cross the finish line before you. A sore fuckin’ loser indeed.

Copper was talking, and to be honest, I couldn’t care less about the bullshit coming out her mouth. All I needed was for shawty to drop that white flag so a nigga could do what the fuck I was born to do. Once she let it go and it touched the ground, I was gone.

That bitch ass nigga kicked the bullshit off first and I couldn’t lie. I was glad he did. The crew couldn’t say my crash out wasn’t justifiable. Any nigga in my position would’ve panicked, but I was BMG until the day I died, and it wasn’t shit pussy ‘bout me. I wore a devilish grin the second I took off.

Azul jumped in my lane, trying to clip my front wheel, and I curved that shit at the last second, causing my tires to screech. I pushed off the throttle and eased up off the gas a bit. Not too much, just so I could get better control slowing me down a tad. I let him get ahead just so I could let off the first shot, aiming at his back tire.

This Old El Paso looking muthafucka turned around and shot at my tank. He was on his second strike already. He was really trying to take my Black ass out this bitch early. Who the fuck muthafuckas thought taught the twins most of they damn bike tricks? I hawked him down and pulled up, taking my eyes off the road briefly. Twisting my body just enough to line my shot, I let that .9 sing.
