“I feel like garbage,” Owen admitted to Kane.

“Have you thought about just making it work anyway?”

“What do you mean?” Owen asked.

“Like a long-distance relationship.”

“I don’t know if Alexis would go for that.”

“If she’s this messed up over you breaking up, then it sounds to me like she would at least strongly consider a long-distance relationship.”

“Maybe you’re right.”

“Would you be willing to try it?”

“At this point, I’d be willing to try anything. I can’t lose her. I stayed up half the night because of this gaping hole in my heart.”

“Well, then I’d say it’s worth a shot.”
