“I told you on day one. You’re part of our family now. And we help family when in need. You may have lost all your stuff in that fire, but that doesn’t mean you will ever go without.”

Lucas’s eyes teared up. He jumped up from his chair and wrapped his arms around Marcus’s thick body.

“Thank you so much,” Lucas sniffled. “You don’t know how much all of this means to me. Everyone coming over and making sure that we’re okay. Honestly, I’ve never had a family like this before.”

Hearing him say that broke Caden’s heart. How could someone so full of life not be a priority to his family?

“When you’re done slobbering all over my brother, I’ve got a box full of nice clothes here. It’sSons of AnarchymeetsQueer Eye,” Ace said, standing next to the box he placed against the wall in the kitchen. This box was labeledReally Cool Dude Shit.

Lucas pulled away and began to chuckle. The sound was infectious. It looked like the boy’s spirits were beginning to pick up.

LUCAS

It had been a rough few days having to adjust to the thought of starting over and being pissed about losing the fifteen hundred dollars he had managed to save. He didn’t have a bank account—for obvious reasons—so he had been saving all of his cash in a jar hidden in the loft. He had managed to scrape together a bit of savings, which had given him a sense of accomplishment and self-worth.

While the guys were amazing at taking care of him and giving him new clothes and other essentials, like a toothbrush and condoms, apparently, Lucas knew where all of it came from—not from his hard work and sacrifice, but from the kindness and generosity of his newfound family.

He struggled with being thankful and appreciative.

“Want to play some PlayStation?” Caden asked, bending down in his loose-fitting basketball shorts and turning on the unit.

The man stood, staring at him, waiting for an answer.

Jesus Christ.

The man was clearly not wearing any underwear, and all of his thickness was bouncing around as he moved.

“What?” Caden asked, apparently clueless to the visual assault on Lucas’s eyes.

Forcing his gaze away from the dangling sausage, he stared up into Caden’s baby-blue eyes and swallowed hard.

“Umm… yeah. Sure. What game are we playing?”

He tried to ignore the blood that was currently rushing down to his cock, giving him a chub and craving attention.

“Assassin’s Creed. Love this game.”

Caden sat next to Lucas on the couch and took a swig of his beer. Marcus had given them both the next two nights off so that they could recover and get things settled before coming back to work at the bar.

Caden had been great. He’d been incredibly attentive, ensuring that Lucas had everything he needed. He even picked up another burner phone for him while he was out buying a replacement for his own cell phone that was destroyed in the fire.

It had been ages since Lucas played video games, and it took him a while to figure out how to control his character and actually play the game.

Over and over, it appeared that Lucas’s character had an aversion to staying alive. No matter how hard he tried, his character kept meeting horrible, untimely deaths.

“I swear, I didn’t know that a character could die that way,” Caden noted, referring to Lucas’s player’s latest on-screen death.

“What can I say? I’m unique.”

They both chuckled.

“And apparently horrible at video games,” Caden added.

“Hey!” Lucas shouted, dropping his controller and lunging at the mouthy ass sitting beside him.

Caden’s arm came up defensively as he tried to block the flying twink currently aimed at his body.
