"Well, if you didn't share DNA before, I guess you do now." She shrugs, and my jaw drops.
"Hannah…"
"What are you saying, princess?" Noah growls.
"Well, I may have asked Austin to add aspecial ingredientto that filling, just for me…"
It's at that moment my knot softens and she slips free, hopping off the counter.
"Princess…tell me you're joking." Noah looks murderous, but I also see a hint of amusement in his eyes. I'm hoping he knows that I would never add my own…er…cum to my baking.
She cackles and flees the room like a madwoman. "Maybe I will if you can catch me!"
Well, fuck.
Chapter 38
Hannah
Ihave no idea what I've gotten myself into. The more time I spend with my alphas, the more I feel like my old self. The person I was before constant rejection whittled me down to a lump of insecurities and self-doubt. I had felt like I was walking on air when Austin told me he loves me, and then Noah took some of the filling…I just couldn't resist.
As I've said, Noah makes me want to be a brat.
Iwanthim to chase me. I want him to be so overcome with desire and need for me that he has no choice but to chase me down and take what he wants. Maybe Austin can join in? We haven't done anything with more than two of us yet, and it's hot as hell to imagine Austin stroking his hard cock while watching his brother take me.
When Noah heard about mine and Charlie's little beach adventure where he chased me down, his eyes lit up and he told me he's always wanted to do something like that. So here I am, making it happen.
What can I say? I'm a giver.
My feet pound on the floor as I race out of the kitchen and run through the living room. Thinking it might be a good move to grab the blanket hanging off the back of the couch, I snag it, wrapping it around my shoulders as I run to the sliding glass door and throw it open. I'm getting flour and filling all over it, but it'll need to be washed after this anyway.
The sun is low, almost completely set, and Charlie and Enzo should be home soon. The thought of them finding us in the middle of our little game spurs me on, my bare feet landing in the grass of the backyard as I sprint forward. I'm also pretty glad we don't have any close neighbors right about now.
My breathing picks up as I look around the backyard, trying to find somewhere to hide. I have no plan here. There's a small casita, a gazebo, a little garden, and a ridiculous water fountain.
I could hide behind that.
"Where do you think you're going, princess?" I hear Noah's voice call from inside the house. He's giving me a head start. His words send a shiver through me. It's around fifty-five degrees, which isn't all that cold, but for a native California girl in nothing but her birthday suit and a couch blanket, it's a little chilly.
Slick and Austin's release still drips down my thighs as I dive behind the fountain, avoiding the hardness of the stepping stones that are inlaid throughout the grass. Something primal is stirring within me, a need to evade. To make our alphaprovethat he deserves us. My heart is pounding in my chest, the adrenaline surging through my body as I wait to see if my alpha will find me. The sound of the sliding door closing makes my stomach swoop, and then I hear footsteps.
"Oh, princess…" Noah calls out, his voice taunting. "Where are you hiding, you sly little thing?"
My omega sits on edge, willing to play the prey to her alphas predator. At the first sign of him, I'll flee.
The grass softens his footsteps, so I don't know when he'll pop up.
"Little omega, where did you go?" He croons, and I involuntarily shiver. His voice comes just from the other side of the fountain, so I make a break for it.
Surging to my feet, I take off towards the little garden, and Noah lets out a little laugh behind me. My feet sink in the grass, and when I turn my head to see where he is, I let out a little startled yelp when I see he's right behind me.
He gives me a feral grin, and I turn to face forward again, redoubling my efforts as I break away and head into the little garden. My lungs burn with exertion, but as I dart around a bush, I turn suddenly, stopping as the rectangular obstacle separates me from my mate.
I look at my alpha then, his pupils blown wide with the need to chase. His cheeks pink with exertion and his chest heaving from running. His eyes track me with predatory intent, and I lick my lips, drawing his attention.
We do a little dance, him lunging to one side, and me, darting the opposite direction before switching.
"You're mine, Hannah," Noah growls. "Running won't change that."
