“Fuck you too,” I spat at him.
I turned away from my men, hair whipping in the wind, and stormed off toward my Civic. Not for the first time that day, I wondered just what this meant for our relationship.
Reevaluate and renegotiate.

Istoodintheparkinglot of the clubhouse, dumbfounded. I stared after where Maya had been standing, wondering what the fuck had just happened.
“What the fuck?” Jason let out a slow breath, his voice full of the disbelief I was feeling myself.
“What was that about?” I asked.
“That was you letting some whore hang off you, disrespecting our girl,” Nico replied.
I snapped my head up to look over at my buddy. Nico hadn’t been right since the night before, not since he thought that I had taken things too far with Maya’s punishment.Nico had been downright pissed at me when I made him leave Maya this morning, to greet the incoming visiting clubs.
But Nico was also right. I had let some whore hang off my arm for too long. I hadn’t expected Maya to walk in when she had. She’d been later than normal and things had gotten out of hand.
“That was more than that,” Jason said. “She’s beaten girls before for getting too close to us, but never that badly. She might have killed that girl.”
A gun shot went off in the clubhouse.
We whipped around to see what was going on, but there were too many people standing in the doorway. Pushing my way through the door, I led the way inside, to see what the fuck was going on.
President Buckley was standing over the body of the blond that Maya had beaten to holy hell. His gun was still aimed at the girl. She had to have gotten up at some point, because she was slumped over sideways now, with a bullet hole in her forehead.
“What the fuck?” I asked.
“She was Hillcrest’s girl. She came here to spy,” Buckley replied, anger pinching his face. He slowly lowered his gun, still glaring down at the blond.
“What?” I asked dumbly. Had Maya known?
“Looks like your girl got a head start on her,” Buckley said.
“Yeah,” I muttered, still in utter disbelief. What the fuckwas said between them?
“Lina heard what Tish said to Maya. It was not good. Dax threatened to give Maya to his crew to use, after he killed the three of you,” Bear said.
“She woke up long enough to laugh and say that Hillcrest would level the club,” Buckley added, sliding his gun back into its holster. He walked away like it was nothing.
I swallowed thickly, my mind reeling. We had a fucking spy in our clubhouse? “Get rid of the body. Toss her on Hillcrest door step,” I ordered a couple prospects.
Turning, I found Jason and Nico standing near the front door speaking with Buckley. On the same page, I headed for my friends and president. We needed to get out of here and find our girl.
We had made a grave mistake tonight.
It took longer than I had hoped to get out of the clubhouse. Buckley wanted us to stay and smooth things over with the visiting clubs. As Vice President, it was part of my responsibility. I had tried to get Stone and Dagger to leave without me, to go check on Maya, but they both insisted she needed time to cool down.
I didn’t like it. Too much had happened in the last twenty-four hours. I’d never seen Maya so fucking wild, so damn angry. She looked sick, as well. Pale. Something wasn’t sitting right with me.
It was going on six a.m. when the three of us finally pulled in the driveway. “This is fucked.” Jason’s low sigh was a punch to the gut for me. I was already feeling the guilt, but hearing it in Jason’s voice as well, I knew I fucked up.
“We shouldn’t have left her alone yesterday. She was hypothermic. She woke up alone. We’re fucking lucky she even woke up,” Nico spoke the words that were weighing heavily on my mind.
I hung my head, still seated on my Harley.
“She looked pale,” Jason added.
