Kara cleared her throat and I blushed as I pulled away from Jason. He slowly let his hand drop from her shoulder, letting it slide down her back as he let her step away.

“Are you spending the night, tonight?” Kara asked me. There was a knowing grin on her face as she asked the question.

“Yeah,” I muttered. “I gotta grab my bag out of my car though.” I reached into my coat pocket, feeling for my keys.

“Here.” Nico smirked, pushing the blunt toward me. His fingers lingered over mine as he handed me the half smoked blunt; hishands were warm against my skin. I hadn’t realized how quick the temps had dropped since the sun went down.

How was it my turn again? I was used to the frat boys I usually smoked with sitting on the blunt for a while. These guys seemed all about the puff, puff, pass. I was already feeling the effects as I took another slow drag, letting the smoke fill my lungs before I sucked in clean air after.

I passed the blunt to Jason, when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out and sighed as I saw the face on the screen. “Fucking Tommy?” Kara groaned, having seen my phone screen. “I thought you broke up with that douche?”

I exhaled my smoke and hit ignore on the call, before I tucked the phone back in my pocket. “I did. He won’t take the hint.”

“’Cause he was whooped on that pussy from day one?” Kara laughed.

I groaned and shook my head. “Dude.” My cheeks heated as a blush coated my face. The three guys shifted on their feet, and I could see Marcos’s scowl out of the corner of my eye.

Kara, already high, just laughed and laughed. “He’s still in loveeeeee,” Kara sang.

I laughed at her friend and shook my head. “Dude, it wasn’t even like that. It was supposed to be casual.” I ignored the men shifting around her. “I told him that up front.”

Kara laughed even more.

My phone rang again. “Jesus.” I grumbled when I saw Tommy’s picture again.

A large, calloused hand slid over mine, warm and strong as it gripped my fingers, pressing them tighter around the phone. I looked up in confusion, giving Marcos the distraction he needed, to pull the phone from my grip. “What are you doing?”

He didn’t answer me, instead he hit accept on the call from Tommy and pressed the phone to his ear. “Hello?” Marcos’s voice was deep and low as he answered the call, a gravelly growl that had me clenching my thighs together.

“Who’s this?” Tommy’s voice, while slightly muffled, was still clear as day from my phone.

I was at a loss for words. I didn’t even fight him back for my phone, I just waited on bated breath to see what Marcos would say to Tommy. “Maya’s now mine. So fuck off.”

My mouth dropped open in shock, I was already too high to comprehend what Marcos was saying right now. Kara’s giggle didn’t help either.

“Who the fuck are you? Put Maya on the phone now,” Tommy yelled.

“Listen, shit head,” Marcos continued. “Maya dumped you. She’s had enough. Now she’s mine. So fuck off.” Marcos hung up the phone after that.

A deep blush colored my face as my mouth dropped open in shock. I stepped toward Marcos to grab my phone, but he slid it inhis pocket. Narrowing my eyes on him, I crossed my arms over my chest and cocked my hip, raising an eyebrow and waiting. “Relax,Tesoro, you’ll get your phone back. Now hit this.” Someone how the blunt was back in his hand. He took a deep drag off the almost finished blunt and stepped toward me.

Oh fuck,is he planning on shot gunning this, right in front of his sister? What’s he planning?I had no idea but still found my feet moving toward Marcos.

Marcos smirked down at me before he pressed the blunt between my lips. He held it, as I sucked in a hit. My heart pounded in my chest, and I heard Nico chuckle softly to my right, before his hand slid into my coat pocket. I heard my keys jingle as I turned my head away from the blunt.

I took another deep breath of fresh air, pulling the smoke further into my lungs, all while Marcos still stood inches away from me, looking down at me with a smirk on his face. His dark eyes were mischievous in the light of the parking lot.

“Come on, girl. I’m freezing.” Kara tugged my hand, pulling me away from Marcos.

There was a rumble of low laughter from behind us as we walked away. I glanced over my shoulder as Kara and I hit the stairs, to find all three guys—including Nico with my bag slung over his shoulder—standing where we left them, staring after me.

“What the hell is happening?” I mumbled, as we climbed to the second floor.

Kara laughed and shook her head. “Girl. You’re so fucked.”

I gasped. “What do you mean? Kara?”

“Word on the street is my brother and his friends only date together. As in,sharing.”
