Cass lost track of time, his mind going hazy with pleasure, and eventually Blake’s moans took on a desperate turn. “I’m sorry, baby, I’m gonna come. You’re too good. You’re too fucking good.”

And Cass would have been right there too, if he felt like stroking his own cock for even a second. But he didn’t want to unwind his arms from Blake’s neck, didn’t want to be even an inch farther apart than they were now. If anything, he wanted him closer. So he pulled Blake down fully on top of him, Blake’s arms coming up under his shoulders to find new purchase. “Yes, come. I’ve got you.”

And Blake did, thrusting mercilessly until his hips stuttered to a finish, his breath hot against Cass’s neck.

And before Cass could come down from the high of having made Blake—hisBlake—come, Blake was moving down his body, swallowing Cass’s cock like some sort of pro, and that was it, that was the end, Cass was coming in a fucking second. It would have maybe been mortifying if he hadn’t just been dicked down so good.

They lay panting and sweating, bodies entwined together once again. Blake was looking down at him, a sort of secretive smile on his face.

“What?” Cass asked, his finger tracing the curve of Blake’s lips.

“Your fangs are out,” Blake said softly.

Cass’s hand flew to his mouth. “Oh! Oh. I’m not hungry, I promise. I just—”

Blake grabbed his hand, lowering it, and pressed a kiss to his lips. “Don’t worry, baby. If I had fangs, they’d have popped out too. That was fuckingawesome.”

Cass giggled, suddenly so giddy he thought he could float off the bed, fangs and all. “Yeah, it was pretty awesome.” He snuggled into Blake’s broad shoulder. “You don’t mind? The face?”

“What did I tell you before? You’re the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Cass sighed happily. “We’re gonna be good boyfriends, aren’t we?”

Blake kissed his forehead. “We’re gonna be the best.”

“Even though I’m a vampire?”

“What have I always said?” Blake asked.

“Gym before class, that’s how you gain mass,” Cass recited dutifully. Blake even had it written on his whiteboard.

“Not what I meant,” Blake scolded, stroking a hand down Cass’s spine. “I’ve got your back. Always.”

Epilogue

Blake

Blakewokeslowly, blinkingagainst the morning light streaming through their apartment’s curtains. He clutched the warm bundle in his arms tighter, fingers dancing along the smooth skin of Cass’s stomach, no pajamas on either of them to get in the way.

“Tickles,” Cass murmured, clearly still half-asleep himself. He generally stayed up many hours later than Blake, his vampire body not needing as much sleep, but he loved to climb into bed in the last few hours and claim what hedidneed so they could both wake up together.

It suited Blake well—he’d grown used to falling asleep to the soft sounds of Cass typing on his laptop, or the quiet turn of pages when he was reading. And he liked that Cass was still as slow to wake as ever, despite his many other vampire changes.

“Happy graduation day,” Blake whispered.

They’d be in different ceremonies, unfortunately—Cass with his biology department and Blake with the business school. But then there would be dinner with Blake’s family and Cass’s grandfather to celebrate.

Speaking of food—

“You should eat before we go, hm?” Blake asked, pressing a kiss to the back of Cass’s neck.

Cass had kept feeding on Blake, although he couldn’t—or wouldn’t—do it weekly, afraid to take too much. Every other week, he went hunting, and Blake would go with him, staying close by in case Cass ran into any trouble.

Watching his back.

“Mm,” Cass mumbled sleepily, turning to face him, his hair rumpled from sleep. “Hello.”
