She was terrified he was going to come before her and she didn’t want that to happen.

Though he did say he’d make it up to her.

She did something else she’d never done before. She reached her hand between her legs, found her swollen bud, and then started to play with herself.

She saw the smile on Abe’s face the minute before her eyes shut.

All she wanted to do was feel everything happening inside her body.

“That’s it,” he said. “Get yourself there. Damn, the sight of you is out of this world.”

His voice was just the accelerant that she needed to push her past the wall holding her in place.

“Oh God,” she said. “Go harder. Please, go harder.”

Her hand dropped away as she came. Abe’s fingers were gripping her hips almost in a vise, which was a good thing because he was fucking her so hard that the bed was moving and she was afraid she’d be separated from him if he didn’t hang on.

She was gripping the sheets in her fist and he was grunting out noises almost as loud as her, then collapsing down on top of her.

She let out a loud groan and thought he’d get the hint and just roll.

He didn’t. He stayed there gasping for breath.

She wanted to tell him to move, but then realized she was too proud of herself to know she brought him to that level of exhaustion.

AN EYE OUT FOR YOU

“You’re back,” Abe said to Easton on Sunday afternoon. He’d been out mowing the lawn when his cousin pulled in behind Laurel.

“I am,” Easton said. “No reason to not come back. I’ve got everything I need here.”

Abe smiled over the comment.

He was starting to feel the same way after his time with Daphne.

Did he want her to spend the night with him?

Shit yeah.

But she’d left around nine and he let her go, knowing he’d see her tomorrow at the McGill Estate.

Or he damn well was going to try to see her.

Maybe he’d text today too. Just to see if she found a new hobby or not.

Anything to lighten the mood. He liked the playfulness between them.

“You sure do,” he said, waving to Laurel who was grabbing her bag out of her SUV. “Are you making dinner today?”

Laurel laughed. “I planned on it once I went to the store.”

“I’ll cook,” he said. “Or I’ll grill. Got a few steaks hoping you’d both come back.”

Easton looked stunned, then turned to Laurel. “I’m not saying no. Don’t know about you.”

“We’ll be there when you say you’re ready,” Laurel said. “And I’ll bring some kind of a side if you want.”
