"I don't know if I love the idea of getting this job because I'm your girlfriend," I tell him truthfully.

"Bex, it's okay to take advantage of who you know to pursue your dream. If you're worried about what happens if you and I don't work out, well, it's a non-issue."

I let his words sink in, and he's right. "What do you mean a non-issue?"

"Meaning, we won't not work out." He smirks. My heart hammers in my chest hearing how sure he is of us as a couple.

"Our meeting will be an hour full of details, and you can ask all the questions and voice all your concerns. But until then, Becca, are you in?" He looks so hopeful, his voice laced in excitement.

This is the door I was hoping would open. Could it be too good to be true? Possibly. But do I trust Levi with my passion and career? Undoubtedly.

I allow a massive grin to take root on my face. "I'm so in."

Later that night, after spending the day coming up with every possible question I could ask in my meeting with King next week, I find myself in a mix of nervous excitement as I wait around for Levi to come home from work. We are due at Emmy and Jake's new place in less than an hour. I walk through the apartment looking for anything Emmy may have left behind on accident.

While we've talked on the phone, I haven't seen her since she found out about Levi and me earlier this week. After a few days of thinking she was blowing me off now that she moved out, I was unable to set up a lunch where I was going to tell her the news. But it seems that I took too long, and Levi ended up having to tell her. She called me on her way back to work after lunch with him. I apologized for keeping it from her, but she said she understood. That while she is happy for us, she is still going to kick his butt if he hurts me and vice versa. She'll always love me, but if I hurt her brother, she'll have to go to extreme measures. She mentioned something about my donut addiction. I shiver at the thought of her messing with my weekly delivery.

There's a knock at the door, and I'm immediately excited to open it. I rush to the living room and swing open the door. Levi is standing there in dark jeans, a button-up blue shirt and a black leather jacket. His hair is mussed, and his grin is as big as they come. Since I haven't seen him much, I can't help but to jump up into his arms, my own jean-clad legs wrapping around him.

"Hey there, baby," he murmurs into my hair. "You miss me?"

I lean back and smile. "You know I did." And then he steals a kiss. He deepens it as he takes a few strides into my apartment and throws the door shut behind us.

"A man could get used to this kind of welcome." He breaks our kiss, and I can't help but pout.

"This woman could use some more visits from her man," I tell him then kiss him again. I ease my legs down and slowly slide down out of his embrace. He groans.

"We've got to get going. Let me grab my purse." He nods and opens up the door again.

He ushers me out, and we chat about his day as we head to Emmy and Jake’s in Levi's town car.

"You know, we could see more of each other if you'd move in with me." Levi throws out there, and I whip my head around so fast I nearly see stars. He chuckles at my reaction.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean just what I said. You should move in with me." He doesn't look like he's joking. He also doesn't look like this topic makes him squeamish.

"We've only been together for a couple of weeks," I argue, still in shock.

"We've been together for six weeks now," he counters.

"Isn't it too soon?" My eyes are still wide and unbelieving.

"I don't think it is, no." His eyes are full of understanding, yet I can tell he wants to laugh.

"But what would we do with my place?" I ask dumbly.

"You could sell it or sublet it. You don't need the money, so you could cut the price down and get someone in there pretty quickly if you rent it out. Hell, you can leave it sitting there for all I care, I just want to come home to you each night and wake up with you each morning."

I just look at him. He shifts closer to me. Cupping my cheek, he says again, "Move in with me Bex."

"Okay," I say just above a whisper.

We sit there, smiling like fools just as the car comes to a stop. I give him a quick peck before we climb out of the car.

Moments later, we find ourselves engulfed in hugs and hellos. Jake and Levi do that male half-hug thing as Emmy squeezes me tight.
