NOAH PROWLED OVER BAILEYas she lay stretched out on the sandy ground beside the pond, his hands running up and down her beautiful body.He’d fucked her beneath the waterfall and then taken her more slowly as he held her.

“Come closer,” she murmured, reaching for him.

“Not until I kiss you all over,” he said huskily, kissing his way down her collarbone, toward her full, beautiful breasts.

“Promise me things won’t be weird between us when we get back to Virginia Beach,” Bailey said, sighing in contentment.

“Weird?Why would they get weird?”He paused, glancing up to see her flushed face.The freckles that had spread across her cheeks looked even darker today, but it gave her a girlish innocence.Which was probably why she hated them.Her eyebrow ring gleamed in the sunlight as she turned toward him.

“Like if we’re both going to be in the same place, don’t bring another girl around or something.I just can’t see that after this.After us.”

Noah chuckled.“Why would I bring another woman around if you’re there?”

“Noah,” she said, rolling her eyes in exasperation.

“Bailey.”

“Look, I know how some of the guys on the team are,” she said.“Taylor told me herself that you’re never with the same woman twice.Heck, Mason was like that, too, before he and Taylor finally got together.”

Noah pinned her with a gaze.“Look, I’m not a saint.But why the hell would I bring another woman around if you were there?”

“I’m just saying—don’t.For both our sakes.”

Noah narrowed his gaze, searching her face.“We just had the most incredible sex of my entire life, and you seem to think I’d want to sleep with another woman?”He laughed, and she swatted at him.“I’m literally about to kiss your entire body from head to toe, and then make you come a couple more times.”

“I’m not saying you’d want to—just that things happen.People drift apart.Maybe we go back and hook up a few times—finish out this fling or whatever it is.We have some of the same friends—I just don’t want things to be awkward.”

Noah smirked.“You’re crazy if you think you’re getting rid of me that quickly.This, between us?This chemistry?It doesn’t just happen.I’ve never felt this way about someone before.”

“I know chemistry like this doesn’t just happen—I just.I was just trying to give you an out.”

He raised his eyebrows.“And if I don’t want an out?If I just want to be with you?”
