The front door flung open, and Axel strutted in holding a bottle of champagne in front of him, followed by Remy, Caleb, Eric, and the rest of the guys. “About fucking time!”
I dropped my mouth open, watching them all file in.
“Give me your hand.” With a wide smile, Ryder slid the ring up my finger, then fished a matching ring out of his other pocket and held it to me. “Hurry, put it on me.”
I glided the ring up Ryder’s finger. Holy shit, was this real? “Axel’s okay with this?”
“Of course I’m okay with it. Ryder agreed to wait to have your wedding after me and Remy have ours.” Axel stood next to the table with a shit-eating grin on his face, then held up his hand and a silver band glinted off the candlelight. He popped the cork off the champagne bottle.
The cork flew toward Silas, who grabbed up Cash and ducked. “Fuck man, watch where you’re pointing that thing.”
Caleb tsked and strolled in, hand in hand with Eric, also holding a champagne bottle. “We have to figure out who’s next after they get married.” Caleb held up his hand to show off a thick, gold band.
“Holy fuck.” I stared at Caleb, then shifted my gaze to Brandon and Devin.
“Yep, us, too,” Devin said with a chuckle. As their eyes twinkled, Brandon and Devin both showed off their rings.
“And us.” Gabe and Jeremy stepped in, both holding up their hands to show off thick gold bands.
“Silas?” I flung my gaze back to him, now working the top off his own champagne bottle at the kitchen island. He sniggered. “Show him, Cash.”
Cash held up his fingers and wiggled them at me, a black band around his ring finger. “I gave in and let him do black tungsten rings.”
“Damn right. We’re a pop-punk band, not a boy band.” Silas popped the cork off his bottle. “At least Axel followed my lead.”
“That has nothing to do with it, Silas.” Caleb stepped to Silas and threw an arm around his shoulders. “What we picked are special to each of us.”
“You all picked these together?” I held my hand up to my face, perusing my ring. They’d been a busy bunch while I was gone.
Axel poured champagne into glasses for everyone and handed them out.
“We did.” Ryder grabbed my hand and lifted me out of my chair. “We decided that the band wives should be real wives. So, there you have it.”
“And Axel was incensed when he thought you two were getting married before him and Remy.” Silas smirked at Axel.
“I admit it. I was.” He held up a champagne glass to Remy, who tapped his on Axel’s. “I think we all knew we’d found our person, so why wait?” He sipped his champagne, then kissed Axel.
“When are all these weddings starting?” I looked them all over, my friends and their fiancés standing strong together around the room.
“Remy and me are planning a proper spring wedding up at Gabe’s family home.” Axel smiled at Remy.
“Yeah, Dad decided we have a great place to host it on the property.” Gabe hugged Jeremy into his side.
“And my mom wants to handle the decorations.” Silas handed filled champagne glasses to me and Ryder.
“So, the parents are all in on it, too?” I stared at Silas. Had Ryder orchestrated this whole thing?
“Yep. I went to Axel first after what you’d said about him and we got everyone together at your dad’s restaurant, which, he closed a section for us, and all the parents met and shit.” Ryder hung his head. “You should have seen it, Milo. Everyone is supporting us and willing to help with all these weddings.”
“We’ll probably have ours at my parents’ house in PV.” Silas hugged Cash into his side.
“And my dad is catering it.” Cash held up his glass, then sipped his champagne.
“Your dad wants to cater ours, of course, and your mom wants it at her house.” Ryder kissed my cheek. “It’s going to be a wedding extravaganza over the next year.”
“Hell yes, it sure is.” With emotion blooming in my chest, I held up my glass in the center of the room. “Come on, everyone, one big toast to us all.”
Everyone gathered around me with their glasses raised. Axel said, “To Knot Me, the wives and all of us living our dreams.”
We all tapped our glasses on each other’s then drank down our champagne.
Ryder caught my mouth in a passionate kiss. “Welcome home, baby.”
