“Was in the neighbourhood. Something told me to try in here.” His smug fucking face was just begging to be split open.

“Well, you ain’t welcome, so why don’t you and your designer loafers turn around and fuck off,” I snapped, I could sense Lorenzo’s fingers twitching as he felt the same as I did.

“I think I am welcome. I plan to spend money in here, and you wouldn’t want to hurt the bar’s profits over a woman, would you?”That bellend needs to leave.

“My pockets are just fine, boyo. So why don’t you do as my mate suggested and be on your merry way,” Jay’s Irish lilt was deceptively calm. “I draw the line at blood being shed in my bar, but something tells me with you I’d make an exception,” Jay barely got involved in shit he had bodyguards to deal with. But tonight he didn’t seem to care.

“This pussy wouldn’t do fuck all to me,” Henry scoffed, shoving his hands in his suit pockets. “Just like the precious, Princess Ricci.”

A blast of white hot anger searing behind my eyelids had me bearing forward, and I had the little prick pressed against the bar with my hand around his neck before anyone else could breathe.

“Speak about her like that again and I’ll fuckin’ end you, you fuckin’ cunt, do you understand?” I growled.

“Wow, kiss your mother with that mouth?” I narrowed my eyes, keeping a tight leash on my rage. “Shame I didn’t get to bury myself in Isabella’s tight cunt though, isn’t it.” He whispered, but Lorenzo had heard.

“You mother fucker!” Lorenzo screamed from behind me, pulling out his knife.

“Oh, here comes Papa,” he laughed. I couldn’t believe the nerve of this guy. “Such a pity your daughter is so frigid. She needs a good man to break her in.”

“What? With your limp dick?” I tightened my grip, making his eyes bulge.

“Yeah… and she’d have loved every second,” he struggled.

Enough was enough.

Glancing over my shoulder, I took in an expression on Lorenzo I hadn’t seen before. He gave me a curt nod and with that I reared my head back and smashed the little fucker in the nose. Blood spurted out like a fountain, spilling across my face.

“Ah! You broke my fucking nose?—”

“You just don’t give up, do you, you cocky son of a bitch?” I flicked my pen knife open, pressing it against his cheek. “You know what I do to pretty little boys like you? We give ‘em permanent smiles. Should be a fair improvement to that fuckin’ face of yours.”

“Pl-please…” his mask of fearlessness slipped and was replaced by a snivelling mess.

“I love it when they beg, don’t you, Lorenzo?” I teased as I dug my blade into his skin, drawing blood.

“It almost makes me hard,” Lorenzo laughed as he stepped up beside me.

“Mention Isabella again in any way, shape or form, and I’ll make it my personal mission to end your sorry excuse for a life, got it?” I whispered as he shuddered beneath my hold.

“I got it!” He cried, which came out as nothing more than a squeak.

“Good boy, now fuck off and do one.” I patted his cut cheek, making him inhale sharply. “And remember what I said, one word and I will find you.” With that he ran towards the door, stumbling into the rainy evening.

“I think we need a drink,” Luca clapped his palm on my back, bringing my anger back to a minimum.

“I knew you were the right fucking choice!” I felt the pride in Lorenzo’s voice, and although it should have made me feel guilty for wanting his daughter, it didn’t.

“Hell, kid… You scare the shit out of me,” Red laughed from beside me.

“You’re one to talk, you’re just as fucked up as I am.”

“It’s tough fighting for the top spot, you know?” He teased, knocking back the remnants of his beer.

“If I remember rightly, there is no competition. I already put you on your arse, remember?” I tapped my finger against my lips. “Unless you want a rematch that is. I’d love to see your face when I do it again.”

“Nah, I’m too old for that shit,” he scoffed.

Just as I was about to reply, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket.
