“How dare you! Keep your nose out of my business, or else!”
“Or else what? You’re gonna screw my best friend too?”
Livid, Melissa lunged for the panic button. “That does it. I’m calling security.”
“Go ahead, sis. Have someone else do your dirty work. Just like when you sent your fuck boy to throw Sonny out on the street.”
A burly guard instantly appeared behind her, seizing Billie by the arm. “All right miss, time to go.”
Billie tugged herself free from his grasp. “Sonny no longer has to roll over when you snap your fingers. He’s already got his lawyer working on it and he sure as hell isn’t going down without a fight,” she continued. “And by the way, you’re an idiot for letting a good man like that go. Someday, someone’s going to appreciate Sonny for everything you didn’t and when that day comes, I hope I’m around to see you eat your heart out.”
With a satisfied grin, Billie turned toward the door before she boomeranged back to the big-bellied one. “Oh, and by the way, Moby…1999 called and wants its hairstyle back.”
