I had to pull a few strings. Getting into a prestigious University in London at the last minute wasn’t easy. But I learned a few things from Christos. I learned how to be ruthless to get what I want. I did my research. The college I most wanted to attend was King’s in central London.

And according to its website guess who one of the major patrons is? Alex. I called Will and was able to get Alex’s cell from him. My hands shook as I tapped in the number and listened to it ring.

“This is Alex.” His voice was clipped.

“It’s Jessie.”

Silence stretched between us then he said. “He doesn’t want you to find him.”

“This isn’t about him. It’s about me,” I responded with an edge of bitterness.

“What can I do to help you, Jessie? Are you looking for a new DOM? Helena and I are opening an underground sex club. You’d fetch quite a price as one of our girls…”

“There’s more to life than sex, Alex.”

“I suppose,” he answered dryly.

“I’m calling because I read online that you are a major patron of King’s College.”

“Helena and I like to support the arts.”

“I bet you do. Anyway, I need to get in. Get me in for the Spring Semester… there’s too much red tape and bureaucracy for me to get through. Especially since my abduction… that you were well aware of. I want a good dorm room and a break on my tuition. Do this and I’ll keep your dirty secrets.”

“Are you extorting me, little dove?”

“Maybe. And I’m no one’s dove. Not anymore.”

“Noted. The life of a college student can be hard. if you need extra cash…”

“Never. I’ll never fuck for money.”

“Fine,” he replied annoyed, “I’ll take care of it. I’ll text you when it’s done.”

“Don’t tell him about this. This is for me. I need this.”

“Fine. But you’re a fool if you think he won’t know. Christos knows everything. You can’t make a move like this without him finding out.”

“I doubt he’d care.”

“On the contrary, Jessie. I’m sure he cares very much.”

“Whatever, I’m over him.”

“Sure, you are,” he laughed, hanging up.

His text came through a few hours later. He had my admission paperwork moved to the top of the pile. A confirmation email came a few minutes later. I was officially enrolled in King’s College.

My new life is about to begin. And this time I’m calling all the shots. I close my eyes as the plane levels off. Going to London is about me not Christos. Even though I was taken to England against my will, I fell in love with it. I miss the woods of Exmoor, Simone and Will. He said Boris left. It’s safe for me to visit now. I miss the wild ponies. Maybe, I’ll sneak out there just to hike through the forests and smell the air again.
