He does a double take then moves his hands from my waist to my belly. “Babe? Are you telling me here, at my wedding—that we’re expectin’?”

“I am.”

Roars and hoots come from the men in Creed. Smith whisks me up in his arms. “Make it quick, Rog.” His jaw tics. I feel hm harden through the tuxedo pants. Who knew being pregnant would set my man on fire?

“Put me down, wild man. I only get one wedding. You—can wait.”

“I can’t. I need to be inside you now, baby,” he growls as he nips my ear.

Giggling, I smack him playfully as he pretends to drop me, only to lift me higher.

Rog rolls his eyes and keeps going. Smith holds me the entire time, even as he says the words that binds us for eternity.

He only puts me down for a second to slip his ring on my finger, then sweeps me up and carries me down the aisle of soft pine needles to our destiny.

He carries me over the threshold of our cabin, strips the gown slowly from my body, and presses the sweetest kiss against my belly before the tip of his hot tongue delves between my thighs.

Our rings shine from our fingers as we make love in the twilight floating through the cabin windows.

We speak words of undying love, over and over as we come together as one—this time as man and wife; bound for ever.

“We’re missing our own wedding.”

“I don’t care. Come back to bed,” Smith grumbles, as I slip my dress back up over my body.

“Nope.”

“Disobeying me already?”

“Yep.”

“Fine. I’ll punish you later.”

“I’m counting on that,” I wink, and open the door to walk back to the party, carrying on without the bride and groom.

The surface of the lake shimmers in the moonlight as it reflects the string lights hanging above the trees. Music floats like magic just as it did the night we met.

I sigh, breathing in the fresh air all around me, hoping the child growing in my womb feels the magic, too.

“You look beautiful.”

Startled, it takes me a second to spot him standing in the shadows. His expensive, dark suit blends right in.

“Th-thank you.”

“Do I still make you nervous?”

Like a panther, he moves slowly into the light of the moon.

He’s pure sin and danger. His aqua eyes glow as they take me in.

I hold out my left hand. “You wouldn’t kidnap a married woman, would you?”

“Wouldn’t be the first time.” He grins, his chiseled jaw moves sensually.

“Good Lord. Heaven help the woman who captivates you.”

“What if I’ve already found her?”
