I give her a pointed look. “The dinner wasn’t romantic?”
She slaps my arm in a playful manner and rolls her eyes. “Of course, dinner was romantic. You have made the entire night romantic. Well, maybe not the phone call from your dad, but this right here is perfect.”
Not waiting for her to finish, I crash my lips to hers and pick her up.
With our lips moving against one another, I carry her over to the makeshift bed and lay her down on the pillows as the boat makes its way further from the coast.
I cover her body with mine, pressing her deeper into the cushion.
The light breeze chills our skin and whips her hair around us.
Laughing, she grabs the stray strands of hair and tucks it behind her head. “Sorry, I know how much getting hit in the face with hair can hurt.”
“If that’s the worst thing to happen to me, then I’ll be alright.”
More than alright, especially if Elise is by my side.
She reaches around my neck and runs her fingers through my hair before lightly digging her nails into my scalp.
I let out a low groan as pleasure shoots down my spine. Leaning close to her, I swipe my tongue against her lower lip, enjoying the way she gasps into my mouth.
Her hand in my hair tightens as she guides my head down to where she wants me. I greedily kiss her neck, like I’m a dying man.
One date with Elise isn’t enough. I need more time with her.
More dates.
More ofthis.
I kiss my way back to her lips and pull awayslightly to ask, “What do you think about taking this yacht down the coast to Florida for a few weeks?”
“Can we do that?” She leans up slightly to gaze around at the open water.
“Yeah, we can do whatever we want to the boat, and we can take it wherever we want because it’s ours.”
Her mouth falls open as she sits up and looks around. “This is yours?”
“As of yesterday.” I grin. “But I already told you that.”
“I just thought you meant you rented it out for the date night. Not that you bought it.”
I shrug. “Well, surprise. I bought it.”
She hops up. “Oh, my God. I can’t believe you bought a yacht.”
“It’s all ours.” I stand and pull her against my chest.
“So when you said we can do whatever you want, did you really mean we can do whatever we want?”
I search her face to get a clue as to what she’s wanting. “Of course. What do you want to do?”
She pushes me back until I’m standing next to the makeshift bed. “You. Right here. Right now.”
I let her push me back until I’m laying on the bed. She straddles my lap and tightens her legs around mine.
She looks up toward the bridge. “Can he or she see us down here?”
I follow her gaze. “Probably with the lights on, but it doesn’t bother me. He understands our need for privacy.”
