I shake my head. “It’s okay, Liam. I get it. I’m too much right now.”

“Addie, no…” he says, his eyes drifting shut. When they open again, the fear is gone, replaced with determination. “You’renotcrazy, and you’re nottoo much.”He pauses a breath, his throat moving with his swallow. “It’s just…”

“Justwhat?Just say it, Liam, please.”

“I know who you’re talking about.”

My eyes widen, though I shouldn’t really be surprised. We live in a small town around a cluster of other small towns, so?—

“How extensive does your online stalking go?”

I should be ashamed, but I’m not. Somewhere along the way, I convinced myself that my reasons were justified. “Pretty extensive. Why?”

“Do you know who Olivia is dating?”

I nod. “His name’s Rhys,” I tell him. “Rhys Garrett. She posts about him?—”

“Addie.”

“What?”

“Remember how I told you that Lincoln and I invested in a gym in Shemeld?”

“Yeah?”

“Rhysownsthe building the gym is in. And the psych office where Olivia works.”

My heart stutters a beat. “Oh.”

“We didn’t invest injustthe gym. There are other parts that are still getting developed, and Linc has monthly meetings with Rhys… and Olivia.”

My chest caves in when all the air leaves my lungs.

“And Logan and Roman…” he trails off, a heavy exhale pouring out of him.

My spine straightens. “What about Roman?”

“Heworksfor Rhys, in that same building.”

Addie

I need therapy.

Lots of it.

And, thankfully, there’s a psych office nearby that might just do the trick.

I also need sleep.

Lots of that, too.

Maybe my new therapist can help with that.

I’m deranged.

Wait.
