“Jez,” Soul warns. “It’s club bu?—”
I pivot around to glare at my twin. “So help me God, Soul. If you say‘club business’,I will castrate you.”
“Please don’t, Jez,” Cece pleads. “I really need his dick.”
Even though I’m pissed, I chuckle while everyone else groans.
Soul puffs out his chest. “Yeah, ya do.”
While I’m distracted, Phantom grabs my bicep to spin me around and yank me into his hard body. His thumb raises my chin to look into his eyes.
“I’m doing it for you.”
“You’re not doing it for me, you do?—”
Phantom growls. “Damn it, Jez. Yes, I am. I know you’re torn about leaving the club without a hacker, but I also understand you need to live your own life.”
“Fort and Lock can handle it,” I state matter-of-factly.
Phantom is right, though. It’s been weighing on me to leave them without my expertise, but I can’t live in my brother’s shadow anymore. I need the freedom to do what I want, when I want, and how I want.
Phantom leans close to my ear and whispers, “I’m sure they can, but I’m better.”
I laugh. “You’re right, but I’m still pissed you didn’t discuss this with me first.”
“I’ll make it up to you.”
His voice is laced with promise, and my pussy spasms in response. I grab his hand before twisting to grab Demon’s.
“Let’s get out of here.”
“Ididn’t know you rode.”
I’m driving Jez’s Charger back to her place, and she’s sitting in the passenger seat sideways so she can see both me and Phantom, who’s in the back.
“There’s a lot you don’t know about me,” Phantom says, a grin in his voice.
I snort. “Yeah, fucker’s full of surprises.”
Phantom laughs as he squeezes my shoulder. It surprises me when I don’t flinch. “You’re just jealous because I’ve got three bikes, and you only have one.”
“Wait,” Jez snaps. “You’ve got a bike?”
“Threebikes. A Hydra-Glide Revival, a Fat Boy, and a Nightster Special,” he says proudly.
“How did I not know this?” Jez demands.
“I dunno,” he replies. “But now that I’m going to be staying here permanently, I’ll make plans to have them shipped.”
Jez glances from him to me and back again. “Permanently?”
I arch a brow, taking my eyes off the road for a second. “Uh, you did just claim both of us back there,” I remind her. “No way are you taking that back now.”
“Exactly,” Phantom agrees.
“You do make anexcellentpoint,” Jez purrs, slipping her hand across the console and resting it on my upper thigh.
I groan at her touch. “I did?”
