His scent itched Aleron’s tongue to taste him, tease him, while every fibre of his being desired to rub against the alluring male until he shared that aroma all over his own body.
His bride was so beautiful, from his tousled brown hair down to his feet, that Aleron wished to dole out endless affection. In any and every way possible, whether it be his tongue, his hands, his sight upon his bare body, to even his fur and feathers caressing over him until he’d stained Aleron in his pretty spring scent.
Yet, as much as he wanted to, he couldn’t even hold the male without there being an ulterior motive. Up until now, what he’d longed for, what he’d been craving, was just to innocently embrace his own damn bride, and have him do so in return.
He wouldn’t risk damaging whatever broken bond they currently had, where his bride would be willing to touch him as he had today, by revealing his growing need for him.
He thought his body would give out if he didn’t ease himself. Despite the torture, he clamped tighter and shuddered through it.
I do not want to... frighten him.He didn’t wish for his bride to see this part of him in case he showed fear, disgust, or anger. He didn’t want to see that kind of look upon Gideon’s face, so he’d rather suffer by holding himself back.
His patience only drew strength from hope.
A thousand rapid and frantic heartbeats later, the pressure began to ease. Only to reignite into an inferno when Gideon re-entered the cave, and the soft breeze fluttered his earthy, flowery musk to him.
He grunted and then shuddered harder, wanting that scent in him, on him, touching his entire essence until it eroded his own smell. Aleron drew his wings tighter around his body to block him out, especially as drool seeped through his fangs.
“Hey, just thought I should let you know that it’s dark out now,” Gideon casually stated, his feet padding against the stone of the cave as he strode towards the fire.
How could just his voice cause his cock to swell painfully behind his seam?I need him.He dug his claws under the base of his skull with the arm he was leaning on, while covering his snout with the crook of his elbow.
“Are... you alright? I wasn’t expecting to still see you there like that.” His voice was quiet, and almost coy.
“Tired,”Aleron grated, the lie sour upon his tongue.
“Fair enough.” The grumble in his tone said he might not believe him. Thankfully he didn’t press the issue. “I’m tired too. I guess the storm really took it out of us. It was nice to watch, though, but it was too cold to stay outside.”
Aleron didn’t respond, not when he was resisting every urge to walk over to him. If he moved even a single muscle, he just might do something foolish.
The only sounds within the cave for a long while were the shuffling around of Gideon, the patter of rain, booms of thunder, and the crackle of fire. A certain area slowly, but constantly, dropped water into a shallow puddle, and he tried to focus on it.
Aleron already began to ease when light snoring reverberated off the walls of the cave. If he hadn’t been – annoyingly – hyper fixated on him right at that moment, he may not have heard it. At least knowing Gideon was asleep allowed him to deal with his insufferable erection alone.
A sigh of relief flittered past his fangs when it softened and the stiffness in the rest of his body relaxed.
Finally, he unfurled himself and sat back to stare at the wall.
I... miss him.He missed the Gideon that had laughed within his wings in their final hours in Tenebris. The one who had played with him, jumped on his back to tease him, and had simply taken up all the space within his thoughts.
Aleron hadn’t thought it was possible to achieve happiness without his kindred, but he’d felt it in their last moments of the afterworld.
With his sight blue, he braved peeking over his shoulder.
Facing the flames, Gideon lay on the other side of the fire. He’d bundled his jacket under his head to cushion it, with his arms folded across his chest and his hands tucked under his armpits. Hair sweeping over his forehead, lips parted, and eyelids twitching as though dreaming, he looked peaceful.
Aleronlongedto share that peace with him.
He turned and lowered to his hands so he could walk upon them. Slowly, and hesitantly, he crawled forward, closing the distance between them. He made sure Gideon didn’t wake, pausing when he stirred, just in case. Then, he knelt on all fours above him, one hand on either side of his resting head, while keeping the rest of his crouched body behind him.
Usually Aleron left the human be when he slept, knowing he felt vulnerable like this. Yet, his mind, heart, and body had been in turmoil this day, and he was struggling to deal with it on hisown. He missed this mesmerising creature, and it gnawed at his essence.
He sought comfort, needing closeness more than ever. He wanted solace from the one being he craved it the most from.
He lowered his skull until he was able to very lightly brush the end of his snout against Gideon’s hair, taking in the briefest feel of it, and his scent. A groan of satisfaction nearly rumbled out of him, but he managed to stifle it. He smelt so nice he was tempted to nibble on his hair.
Before he knew it, he laid down behind him. He made sure Gideon didn’t stir by monitoring his constant quiet snores and regular heartbeat as he rested the underside of his jaw against the top of his head. He brought his knees up until they tucked into the back of Gideon’s, finding his little bride fit perfectly within the nook of him.
He wanted to bring his wing forward and blanket him in it, but he only brought his arm over him. He didn’t lay it completely on him, worried the weight would wake him, and he didn’t clutch tightly.
