I must be going insane. I touch his dick and now I seem to have no control of my own. That wasn’t true, but his attraction to the handsome Duskwalker, with his mesmerising skull of death, had grown tenfold.
Even more so after watching him pat that stupid antelope.
A snicker drew louder, more noticeable on purpose. Gideon had to stifle any yells of surprise when tossed about through the air suddenly.
At this rate, his neck would snap from whiplash.
The cause of the serpent Duskwalker’s erratic actions was something fluttering before them. The moment Gideon properly caught a glimpse of Aleron, his false breath left him and his lips parted.
“Holy shit,” Gideon rasped out. “He’s magnificent.”
Hovering in the air, Aleron had fully extended his wings for the very first time. Considering his height, he shouldn’t have been so surprised that they would be humongous. His wingspan had to be at least twenty feet, if not more.
No wonder they’d felt like a blanket that had the capability to completely and utterly block out the world.
And he was…gracefulin the air.
The subtle, deep whooshing blasted infrequently, steadily, and sparsely. It highlighted just how strong they were, his feathers ruffling as he flapped to keep himself afloat.
Every chance he got, Gideon attempted to watch him in awe, uncaring of the predicament he found himself in. Why should he care when he was witnessing one of the most impressive things he’d ever seen?
Then, Aleron dived straight for him with his talons and claws at the ready, his orbs an angry colour of red. It should have been terrifying. It should have reminded him of how he died. It should have, at least, been off-putting.
It absolutely wasn’t. Perhaps due to Gideon thinking of him fondly, and trusting him deeply, he couldn’t help seeing him as anything but some kind of weird knight in shining feathers.
Not that he thought he needed one.
Despite his massive wings, Aleron was agile and swift. Yet, he still couldn’t catch Gideon, which only angered him more by thesecond. The serpent Duskwalker snickering and chuckling only worsened his erratic attempts at rescue.
Gideon felt for him, unsure of why he was so upset.
When purposefully brought closer to Aleron and bounced up and down at him, as though to taunt, something became startlingly clear.
I figured out what he’s doing.
“Hey!” Gideon shouted, waving his arms to gain Aleron’s attention. “Stop trying to get me.”
“But–” Aleron started.
“He’s just teasing you!”
Gideon tried to stop himself from laughing, he truly did, but he just couldn’t help seeing the humour in this.He saw how much Aleron is attached to me and decided to steal me.Like a toy, the two brothers were fighting over him.
“If you stop trying to grab me, he’ll get bored.”
Gideon should know. He’d done this to Emerie many times. Since he was three years older than her, and therefore taller than her, when he wanted to bully his little sister, he’d dangle whatever she wanted above her head. She would jump for it, crying and screaming to have it back, while he mocked her diminutive height.
He was a good brother, loved her dearly, but he enjoyed needling her any chance he got. Unfortunately, that had seen him many times tackled to the ground and bashed in the nose by her fists – her own version of karma.
As if to demonstrate the truth of Gideon’s words, the Duskwalker turned his snake skull towards him and gave a little growl.
Gideon did the only thing he could think of. He laughed as he gave him the middle finger with his tongue sticking out.
Oh yeah, dude. As an older brother myself, I’ve got you pinned.
Aleron stopped reaching for him and instead waited. He even crossed his arms over his chest, likely mimicking what Gideon had done a few times. He just watched as the serpent Duskwalker dangled and bounced Gideon around.
His heart nearly leapt out of his chest when the Duskwalker then opened his jaw, dislodged it, and hovered Gideon above his massive maw.
