“I’m fucking you against the wall. Problem?”

“Nope. Carry on.”

I pushed him against the wall, and he lifted his legs so I had all the access I needed. I kissed him and then hesitated. “I might need you to do the thing because I want it done right. I don’t want to hurt you.”

“I’ll show you.”

I kissed him slow and sweet, ignoring his demands for me to get on with it. I pushed him against the wall, rubbing our bodies together and teasing him until he was a whiney squirmy mess and was begging me to fuck him. He prepped himself, and it was hot as fuck. I added my thicker fingers at his insistence. “I’m good.”

“Are you sure?”

“Joshua, fuck me right now.”

As always, I couldn’t deny him anything. Sliding into him was indescribable. The heat. The tightness. And I didn’t have one moment of freaking out. This was Brock. The man I loved and everything I wanted.

Later, snuggled up in his arms, I let my doubts intrude.

Was I just putting off the inevitable? Brock deserved that life. Going out to bars and clubs. Having guys fawn all over him. Being with someone he could start a life with, not joining one already in progress. I wanted Brock to have everything. But what if that didn’t include me?

Regina’s words came back to me.“My son has his whole life ahead of him. What right do you have to take that away?”

Over lunchat the coffee shop the next day, Brock grabbed my arm. “Oh my God. That’s Blake Hudson.” His eyes were huge as he tried to impart how big a deal this was.

Blake was a Hollywood movie star and had movie-star looks. He was tall with broad shoulders, dark hair, and brown eyes.

“Do you want to meet him?” I asked.

“I don’t want to impose. He’s with his boyfriend, Danny.”

“You know a lot about him for someone who doesn’t want to impose.”

“It’s all over social media,” he said with a huff.

After the third time Brock craned his neck to get a better look, I grabbed his hand. “Come on.”

“Joshua, no—”

But I was already dragging him to their table. “Excuse me, Blake. I don’t want to interrupt, but—”

“Joshua?” He stood and shook my hand. “How are you? Good to see you again.”

“Of course you know Blake Hudson,” Brock muttered.

I pulled Brock forward. “This is Brock. My boyfriend.”

Blake stared at me in surprise.Did I just come out to someone with millions of followers? “Boyfriend? That’s new.”

“Very new. And not known to many people.”

Blake introduced Danny and asked us to join them. Crystal took the table move in stride. Soon, Blake and I started talking business, and I glanced over at Brock to see if he minded. He was still staring at Blake. And I shook my head. I told Blake about the Cassean and what we were trying to do.

“You should do a gala, Joshua. Raise money.”

“I have money.”

“Raise awareness then. It takes more than one person.”
