I shrug. “Both. Hell, we could even use your vibrator right now. You haven’t come yet, right?”
Naomi shakes her head. “I actually did. I may have been using my free hand to play with myself while I was getting you off. Who knew that having a really hot woman sit on your face would be such a turn-on?”
“I definitely could’ve told you that,” I laugh, reaching out to pull her curls out of her bun. Her hair tumbles down into her face, and I brush a couple strands from her eyes, tucking the pieces behind her ear.
She smiles down at me, reaching up to cup my cheek, her thumb rubbing circles on my cheek. “I love you, Sage Carpenter.”
I grin from ear to ear, turning my head to kiss her palm. “I love you too, Naomi Williams.”
She lays back, flopping onto her back.
“You know, we should probably tell the rest of the sorority that we’re dating when classes start back up.”
We have other things to talk about too. Like what the hell are Naomi and I going to do when I graduate?

“It’s about damn time!” Stephanie exclaims. “I knew you guys would end up together.”
Classes have started back up for the Spring Semester, and today was the first Chapter meeting of Kappa Theta Alpha. The sorority has a tradition where, after the first Chapter meeting of the semester, all the active members will stay for a big group dinner. Since all the sisters were in one place, we figured this was the perfect time to tell everyone we were together.
The reactions were… anticlimactic at best. If anything, everyone just happy we’re finally dating, officially. But no onewas surprised. Except maybe Penny, but bless her heart, that girl ain’t the brightest. I think revealing our relationship helped her finally understand why they were so eager to have me join Kappa—Sage had a big crush on me.
Raven smiles. “I knew you two would get together eventually. I’m so glad everything worked out for you two.”
I look up at Sage, who has her arms around me. “I’m glad too, I love this crazy lady,” I say, scrunching my nose. She leans down to plant a gentle kiss on my lips. “I love you too, Georgia.”
Gabby raises an eyebrow. “No more Church Girl?”
I shake my head. “No, it doesn’t really fit me anymore. Sage has corrupted me quite a bit.”
Sage laughs. “Guilty as charged.”
“I don’t think I could ever set foot in church again after you’ve called me that during sex.”
Gabby makes a fake gagging motion. “Ugh, TMI, you guys. It’s bad enough that I have to hear you sometimes at the apartment. I don’t want to deal with it here too.”
“Come Gabs, you know you’re happy for us,” Sage says, teasing her roommate.
I give Gabby a sympathetic smile. “I’m sorry. I’d say it won’t happen again, but I think we all know it probably will.”
“Yeah, yeah,” she says, waving me off. Everyone else congratulates us throughout dinner, and soon enough, Sage and I are heading back to her apartment. Both Gabby and Cora were not coming back tonight, so we had the place to ourselves. While we did eat dinner at the Kappa house, we decided to stop at the local supermarket on our way to get snacks, drinks, and dessert. We were planning to spend the evening just relaxing and celebrating the end of the first week of classes.
We split up once we get to the grocery store. I grab a basket, making my way toward the front of the store where the bakery and freezer sections are, Sage heads to the back of the store toget our drinks and chips. We agree we are going to meet back at self-checkout in thirty minutes. I’m in charge of getting dessert, so I grab a piece of banana bread pudding with a maple glaze and a piece of tiramisu. Then I grab a couple of mini cookies and cream ice cream cups.
I make my way over to the self-checkout lanes, waiting for Sage to come back. I take out my phone, checking for any missed messages. I have a couple missed texts from my Grannie Mae. We’ve been trying to figure out my summer plans, whether I’d be staying in New York, coming back to her place in Georgia, or if I were doing something else. But I can’t give her an answer one way or the other until Sage and I actually discuss what the status of our relationship will be after her graduation.
Unsurprisingly, my parents haven’t contacted me since I reached out to them three weeks ago. I half expected my mother to at least send me a text message, but I knew I wouldn’t hear from my father. In fact, I would be surprised if he hadn’t blocked me on all platforms.
I sigh, putting my phone away just as I feel a hand snake around my waist.
“What’s got you in a sourpuss mood, baby?”
I smile at the comment, turning to see Sage armed with a basket full of bottles and chip bags. “A sourpuss?” I mimic, laughing at the comment.
“Hey, it made you smile, didn’t it? My work here is done,” Sage says, planting a kiss on my forehead.
