Azriel tucked one arm around my waist to steady me, the other threading into my hair, his strokes merciless. “I want one more from you, wife.”

“More?” I whimpered, my body still vibrating on some plane of ecstasy I could not come down from.

“You have not screamed for me yet.” He glided through my heat, and I was sure I would faint if he did that to me again. “I will not stop until you are screaming.”

“Azriel, oh god, please, please.” I was not even sure what I was begging for now, but the pleas fell from my lips over and over again, as my spine went rigid and my legs turned to jelly beneath me. My entire body was consumed in unbearable heat, my skin prickling with need and delight. I needed him, all of him, like this, whenever he needed me.

“I love you,” he groaned, his hand moving from my waist to my bud to stroke me and aid my completion. “Fuck, I love you.”

I was unable to speak, the touch of his hand making me cry out, for it was too much. All of it, too much.

“Azriel, I-” I cut off, my body threatening to betray me, the feeling deeper, more urgent, more cataclysmic than it had ever been before. I slammed a hand into the window frame and bucked back against him, greedily taking him in, rolling myself against his hand.

When I came again, it was screaming out his name, my whole body quaking. Azriel’s grip jerked on my hair, once twice, then his fingers dug in and he groaned, releasing his spend deep inside my body, filling me with heat.

He withdrew from me, gathering me into his arms and sinking onto the window seat with me in his lap. He tipped his head back against the window, chest heaving as he caught his breath.

“Fucking magnificent,” he breathed, looking down his nose at me with a satisfied smile. “See? And you were concerned about what the doctor said.”

“You are ridiculously irresponsible.” I slapped lightly at his chest, and leaned up to kiss his jaw. “And extremely lucky.”

“That I am aware of.” His face became earnest, and he sighed. “So, you really want to go to America?”

I hesitated for a moment, before running my hand over his chest as I nodded. “I do.”

His mouth set in a hard line, then he nodded too, stroking his fingers through my hair. “Alright then.”

“Really?” I sat up with a laugh, straddling him and wrapping my arms around his neck. “Do you mean it?”

“Yes, I mean it.” His hands rested on my backside, and he grinned up at me. “After all, when have I ever been able to say no to you?”

“Plenty of times, you cad.”

He shook his head, his hands stroking up and down my back. “Never, beloved. And I certainly shall not start now.”

EPILOGUE

Two Years Later

Buffalo, NY

“It’s snowing again.”I wound my fingers through Azriel’s, gazing out at the snowflakes as they whispered past the window.

“It is indeed.” Azriel pressed a kiss to my shoulder, then my neck, then my cheek, his body warming my back, his legs entangled with mine. “I wonder if the Kingstons shall be delayed, and perhaps we shall have to stay in bed all evening instead of entertaining them.”

I giggled and looked over my shoulder at him. “We have been in bed since New Year's Eve, my darling, aren’t you hungry for company?”

“I thought you would know by now that I am simply hungry for you, wife.” He pressed a soft kiss to my lips. “But I do know you are eager for company.”

“While I am still able to entertain, Iam, in fact.”

“Mmm.” Azriel ran a hand over my swollen belly. “Not much longer now.”

“No, not at all.”

“Oh, I felt that.” He laughed as the baby inside me kicked its tiny feet. “Feels strong. Definitely a girl. Packs a punch just like her mother.”

I laughed and put my hand over his. “You had better watch out, two Caine women in this house, whipping you into shape.”
