"No... He seems to be okay with me playing with others, but..."

Sebastian turns to look at me, his brows knitted together as he studies my face. "But what?"

"I just can't shake the feeling that I'm going to end up hurting him, just by being me."

Sitting back in his chair, he crosses his arms. "How so? He's said he's fine with it? In my experience, men don't say they are fine with something if they aren't. Perhaps this is your own inner voice talking and nothing to do with him?"

I sigh, running a hand through my hair. "Maybe..."

He smiles, his blue eyes twinkling. "I'm always here if you need, but maybe you should actually talk to him about how you're feeling?"

"That's what Annika said."

He chuckles, shaking his head. "Funny, maybe you should listen to both of us, then?"

I groan. "Ugh, fine."

"Good. Now, let's discuss your trip to Sydney tomorrow, shall we?" And, like always, the switch from personal to business is flipped, and we're right back into it.

While I'm packing my suitcase that evening, my phone dings from the other side of the bed. Dropping my toiletries, I run to pick it up.

Yeah, I'm officially 'that girl' now, desperate to hear from her boyfriend.

Oh god, and now I'm calling him my boyfriend. I'm so screwed.

Cam

Hey beautiful. You home?

My stomach flutters.

Imogen

Yes... why?

Cam

Look out your window.

I race to the window in the kitchen that overlooks the street. An ambulance is parked out the front, with one very familiar, blond, fuckinghotparamedic leaning against the passenger door, grinning up at me.

Gasping, I grab my keys and hightail it down the stairs, not bothering to wait for the lift.

When I make it through the front door of the building, Cam is waiting for me on the other side.

I jump into his arms, and he chuckles, taking a step back as he catches me, wrapping his arms around me as I grip him with my thighs.

"Hi," I say with a grin, kissing him all over his face.

"Hi yourself."

My lips finally settle over his, and I tighten my arms around his neck, pressing myself into his chest.

"Did someone miss me?" he murmurs into my hair when I break the kiss to hug him.

"Maybe."

"Well, I definitely missed you. Sorry we couldn't catch up earlier."
