Stretching up, Daisy presses a soft kiss to my lips, pulling away before I can deepen it.

“I think that might work,” she whispers against my lips.

“How long do you think we have before they get home?”

She shrugs, grinning at me. “How long do you need?”

“To make you come? Five minutes. To love you? Forever.”

“Well then, we should get started.”

In a sweep of my arms, I scoop up Daisy and settle her legs around my hips. My tail circling her waist and holding on tight, as I walk us to the stairs leading to her bedroom. The one place I haven’t had her yet that I’ve dreamt of taking her. But, like we’ve already established, I’ll need to be quick. Sage and Tobias could be home at any minute.

Daisy directs me to the door of her room, and I kick it open then shut behind us. Tossing her on the bed, she bounces and laughs, but immediately begins stripping her clothes.

I do the same, pulling the destroyed shirt over my head and shoving my jeans off. Leaving me naked and erect overlooking my Blossom blooming for me, nude on her bed.

Crawling over her body I’m sliding inside her in seconds, filling her with my cock and my love. Stroking it deep inside her in smooth hard thrusts. Her body arching and opening to me, begging me for more, that I promptly oblige.

Just as I promised, I have her coming around my cock in less than five minutes and follow immediately behind her with my own release, panting into her flower strewn hair and sucking on the soft salty flesh of her neck.

“I love you, Blossom. No matter what anyone says to you, never doubt that.” I breathe the confession into her ear and love the way her body shivers underneath me.

“I love you too Kai.”

Epilogue: Daisy

3 Years Later

Kai finally did it. He finally convinced me to leave Snowberry and go on a European vacation with him. His veterinary clinic has been open for two years now, but I didn’t think his new vet tech was ready to handle it all on his own. Kai reassured me Endo is more than capable of handling everything for a few weeks. He hasn’t completed his schooling yet, but he’s a quick learner. Plus, he was already training to work in the medical field, so it wasn't a big shift to move to veterinary.

“What do you think, Blossom? Is it everything you expected it to be?” Kai asks from the seat next to me on the gondola he insisted we ride.

I’m not complaining. Venice is beautiful and I’m excited to be here. I thought I would be anxious, traveling to a place full of humans, cameras, and tourists. I didn’t need to be. There are so many people so focused on their own experiences that they barely notice a girl with shifting vine tattoos, slightly pointed ears, and too many flowers in her hair. Wearing long skirts and dresses conceals my tail and the remainder of my anxiety is washed away by Kai’s reassuring hand laced in mine and the kisses he constantly presses to my temple and cheek.

“It’s more than I imagined. Better even.”

“If you’d let me, I’d take you everywhere in the world and show you my favorite places.”

“Maybe not everywhere, but I wouldn’t mind visiting Norway.”

“Anywhere you want Blossom.”

Kai pulls me close, his invisible to humans tail wrapping around my ankle. I like that they can’t see his true self through his glamour. With the majority of those around being human it’s kind of like our little secret.

We circle through the canals of Venice and return to our hotel on the Grand Canal; Hotel Danieli. I know it costs a small fortune to stay here but Kai insisted for my first international trip we go first class. First class flights, private car service to the station where we had another private boat to deliver us to our five-star hotel. I’m going to have more say in planning our next trip. But the hotel is really nice.

We don’t go into the hotel though, instead we go on foot, walking down one of the thousands of alleys that make up Venice. We don’t go towards the famous Piazza San Marco, but down a quieter, less populated alley. The buildings are tall and the path narrow, but every step is more beautiful than the next. Flowers fill window boxes and crawl over gates. Kai leads me to one gate with purple and white flowers decorating its bars.

“Where are we going?”

“You’ll see.”

He opens the gate and ushers me into a secluded and breathtakingly gorgeous garden. White orchids, violets, orange marigolds, pink oleanders, and every color of daisy cover every spare inch of space. There’s almost as many flowers in this small bricked-in garden as in my greenhouse.

“It’s beautiful, Kai. How did you know this was here?”

“I have my ways.”
