He reared up, throwing back his head with his eyes closed, and kept driving inside her, forcing her up the bed with the thrusts. The sounds that came out of his throat sounded agonized.

And when he eventually climaxed, he roared out her name. She could feel his intense release, spurting inside her internalwalls and that triggered her into an intense orgasm of her own with her muscles squeezing tightly around him in pulses.

They held each other tightly through their releases, and stayed like that while trembling in aftershocks. And then she felt his weight settle on top of her, but she didn’t care.

After a while, he slowly lifted his head and watched her intently, as though he knew what was going through her mind.

Their breathing had slowly returned to normal, but they didn’t talk. He gently nuzzled her neck with his nose, and then placed soft kisses all over her face, while she ran her fingers across his back soothing him.

They expressed everything that their voices couldn’t do for them.

When he felt calm enough to talk, he cupped her face gently in his hands, and ran his thumb on her swollen lips. He didn’t move or pull out from her body.

“Sorry I was too rough,” he said softly.

She smiled. “Me, too,” she replied, recalling how she raked her nails on his back and bit hard into his shoulder.

He groaned and shifted slightly on top of her, “God! You were pretty rough. I may need to go to a hospital to take rabies and tetanus shots after this.”

She laughed and smacked him loudly on his bottom.

He smiled and then he started to kiss her gently. He flipped her so she was on top of him and then he slowly sat up, while still joined to her. Seating her properly, he kissed her lips, soothed the love bites on her neck with his tongue and then played with her breasts.

Due to their differences in heights, it was his favorite position to be able to touch and explore her.

She began to rock on him and he groaned, looking at her with rising passion.

“I don’t think I can be gentle or slow tonight,” he rasped.

She saw his raw need and felt the same way. “Me, neither,” she whispered, before clutching his hair with both her hands to drag him close for a hard kiss.

After a few hours, they stopped to take a break. She got out the trifle pudding cake that she had made the previous day. He almost devoured the entire thing, but she showed him a messy, but enjoyable way to eat dessert. After that, they showered together, too exhausted to even stand, but too desperate for each other to stop. Later, early that morning, they fell into an exhausted sleep wrapped around each other.

CHAPTER 26

Samrat woke up when he felt Mahi stir next to him.

It was one thirty in the afternoon on a Sunday. They had almost slept the day away, he thought in amusement.

Mahi was still sleeping deeply next to him with a hand lying on his chest. He gently pushed her hair away from her face to see her properly.

The previous night’s anger and tension was gone, but it was replaced by something even more disturbing. Stroking her hair, he felt something strange twist in his heart. Lately, his heart had been doing that often whenever she was around. Now he knew.

He was in love with her.

He was shocked to realize that he had no second thoughts about how he felt or any kind of doubt left in him. He had felt crushed when she asked him to be with another woman. He had briefly for few seconds even considered doing what she had suggested in his anger, especially because he knew Shivani was more than interested.

But he didn’t want to, and he felt furious that Mahi didn’t care an ounce about him, while he had been like a love sick boy. But after seeing her face and then feeling her desperation last night, he knew she felt something for him.

And he was sure that given some more time, she would feel as strongly towards him as he did. Even if she didn’t love him like he did, it was worth it. He loved her enough for both of them and didn’t want her to change anything about her.

He even knew that she might crush his heart into pieces and also that he was probably an idiot to trust her with his heart, butsomewhere in the last ten months since she had been back; he had already given it to her.

She burst into his life when he was content living by himself and created the need for something more.

They might be a match made in hell, but he was going to follow his heart this time.

He felt free and alive and at the same time it scared him. He had always been so careful and responsible in his life, and for once, he wanted to throw away his self-made promises and society’s hang ups and do as his heart prompted.
