He fucking blushes, making my soft cock twitch with interest. "Yeah, I woke up with a bit of energy, huh?"
A laugh bursts from my chest. "You, me, and the other two, we're all liable to go a little feral after being around our girl for so long."
Henry groans and buries his face in the pillow. "The sexual tension is killing me, Kai."
I flip around, trying to ignore the stickiness on my back and focus on soothing my fiancé instead. Still, I chuckle at his poutiness. Petting his head, I say, "I know, Hen. But imagine how wound up Trev and Ridge must be."
"Poor fuckers," he agrees, his words muffled in the pillow.
Laughing, I spank his ass and roll out of bed. "Come on, time to get up. Lots to do today!"
Henry's fake snore follows me into the bathroom.God, I love him.
Henry and I are standing outside of the second house we're looking at today with matching frowns.
"I don't like it," he says. "It's over twenty minutes away from Nina's house."
Crossing my arms, I try to think of any other option. "I know, but weneedsomewhere to live and I refuse to go home. Ugh," I groan before kicking a rock. "We need to put the other house on the market, but all of our shit is there."
"We could hire someone," Henry offers, still glaring at the nice house in front of us.
"Or we could go back for a week?—"
Whipping toward me, Henry scowls. "No. We aren't leaving Nina."
"Alright," I soothe, wrapping him in my arms. "I was just thinking through our options. We have to get this sorted, though. We've been at the resort for far too long."
"I want to be as close to Neen as possible." The emotion in Henry's voice makes my throat clog with my own worries. "We love her. We should bewithher."
My heart constricts painfully. "Four men in love with the same woman. Two of whom are getting married. How do we convince her our family isn't complete without her between us?"
"Million dollar question," Henry whispers, snuggling into my chest.
The four of us have always known Nina is the love of our souls. That didn't change when Henry and I got together. While it hurt to acknowledge that we may never have Nina be a part of our love, we still made a point to talk about what we would have wanted if Nina was ever found.
Bottom line, Henry, Trevor, Ridge, and I are in love with Nina. The ramifications of sharing aren't as overwhelming as our need for our woman.
As if our thoughts conjured her, Nina's soft voice wraps around us with awe and a hint of caution. "You're in love with me?"
Henry and I jolt, then twist around in shock. Nina stands in front of Trevor and Ridge who both look shocked. With her arms wrapped around her waist in a tight white long sleeve shirt and flowy capri pants, she looks stunning even if I can tell she's too warm.
"Nina, what are you?—"
"Ah," Ridge cuts in. "Meg called me and asked us to get Nina out of the house for some fresh air. So we thought we would meet up with you two. Maybe surprise you with our Nina girl."
"Well, this is quite a surprise," I joke, trying to lighten the mood even with Nina still staring me down.
She steps forward and tightens her arms around her waist. "Is what you said true, Kai?" I hate seeing how uncertain andsmall she looks right now. "Four men in love with me? You guys aren't complete without me? What does that even mean?"
Henry shifts slightly. "Maybe we should head back?—"
"No." Nina releases her waist and lifts her chin. "Tell me now."
"I just think?—"
She cuts Henry off again. "Ijust think you turned my world upside down and now you need to explain it before I have a panic attack or throw a fit like a child."
If this weren't such a serious moment, I would cheer her on and give her a high-five. But alas, we're standing in front of a house that's for sale that we hate and professing our love for our childhood best friend.
