Her cheeks pink as she pulls on a skirt. “That if sex is like that normally, I’d happily have that great of sex for the rest of my life.”
“That’s not normal.”
Her eyes dart away as she mutters, “I guess I’ll just have to keep you in my bed forever then.”
Keeping a safe distance so I don’t ravage her right here and now, seeing her topless, I tell Sadie. “I wouldn’t be opposed to that plan.”
Placing one high heel on at a time, she regards me from her spot in the closet. “You really aren’t like most men I’m used to hearing about.”
Crossing my arms, I notice Sadie eyeing me appreciatively. “What are most men like?’
“Closed down,” she shrugs before putting on a lacy, red, see-through bra. “They don’t talk about their emotions.”
“And how does that work out for them?”
“I don’t really have a lot of friends, so I don’t have much experience with girlfriends talking and divulging all their secrets about men. My best friend is gay, but what I do know is it typically frustrates the woman and there’s some misunderstanding.”
“I don’t want there to be any misunderstandings between us. I know what I want, and I’m going to make sure I get it.”
Slipping on a dark red silk shirt, Sadie walks to stand in front of me with a smile playing across her lips. “I like that. I like you, Tyson Jacobs,” she wraps her arms around my neck, looking up at me before she lets out a yawn and covers her mouth, looking a little sheepish. “Sorry, that Benadryl I took last night is still kicking my ass. Today’s not going to be fun, but we really need to get moving. Feel free to shower or whatever you need to do. I’m going to go make some coffee.”
As Sadie starts to slip by me, I catch her arm. “Are you not going to wear underwear to work?”
“Oh,” she blushes. “Yeah, until the seventh circle of hell clears up down there, I won’t be wearing underwear. It’s too uncomfortable, but I’m wearing a long enough skirt that I won’t be flashing anyone.”
Holy fucking hell. She’s trying to kill me.
“Is your goal in life to make me constantly hard?” I groan and let her by.
There’s no hiding how much she wants me as she slowly takes me in. “I think it’s kind of sweet.”
“My sweet Sadie, there’s nothing sweet about how badly my dick wants inside of you. It’s manly and rugged, and…”
“You are all man, Mr. Jacobs,” she pats my chest. Her hand lingers and she licks her lips. “But I still think it’s sweet. For the first time in… forever, I feel wanted,” she finishes softly.
Why did that asshole marry her if he knew he was gay? Does he know the damage he’s done to her?
“Hey,” I pull her into my arms and press my body to hers as I slide my tongue into her waiting mouth. I kiss her slowly and deeply, showing her how much I want her, and letting her know how much I care. Pulling back enough to look down at her, I cup her cheek. “It’s manly and… sweet.”
Sadie throws her head back and laughs, hanging onto me as if I’m her life line. I love to watch her laugh and be happy. At the office she’s always so serious. Hence the reason why she’s known as the Ice Queen. When she sobers some, Sadie pulls me down at the same time getting up on her tippy toes to kiss me.
My lips part and this time our kiss feels different. I could feel her give all of herself to me.
I’m breaking through.

Sadie
Waitingfor everyone to join me for our lunch meeting, I look up and I’m shocked when I see Tyson walk in. His movements are sluggish as he greets the hostess. His light green eyes light up when the hostess indicates where our table is and he spots me. The closer he walks toward me I notice he has bags under his eyes. Even looking as if he hasn’t slept the whole week, Tyson’s still drop dead gorgeous; my sex clenches at the sight of him.
I arch a brow when he takes the furthest seat from me.
He pulls out a report and pen before looking over at me and clearing his throat. “I’m trying to be on top of my game here, and with one whiff of your vanilla and whatever else scent, I’m going to be a goner.”
I had no idea that I had a smell Tyson liked. It must be the lotion that I use every day.
“I don’t mean to sound like a bitch, but you look like you haven’t slept in days.”
