I didn’t know that we would come to this moment, and my biggest fear was that I would lose both of them. Every day when I opened my eyes, my heart was gripped with the sharp talons of fear, until I saw the two of them sleeping peacefully next to me.

They both knew Judah and what he was capable of, but I was the only one who felt his violence on my skin. I was the one who saw what he was capable of—what his friends were capable of. Ash and Dylan went through hell in that Manor, and I understood why they didn’t want to talk about it. I understood because I never wanted to talk about the thingshemade me do.

And because I knew, I was afraid that one day I would wake up alone, without the two of them, only to realize that my biggest nightmare became a reality.

“I love you, Little One,” Dylan murmured against my hair, pressing his lips to my head. “I have always loved you, and I am sorry for the pain I’ve caused.” I could hear the anguish in his voice. No matter how many times I told him that I forgave the things he had done, he still apologized. He still felt responsible.

We never talked about the fact that Judah abused me for so many years before the ceremony between the two of us. We never talked about the things he went through while growing up in that house, and we had to rectify that. There was no point in building a relationship when all the participants weren’t completely honest and open.

I understood that it would take us years to overcome the damage our childhoods had inflicted, but I was positive that we could do it. If we managed to get rid of the biggest monster of them all, we would be okay. We had to be okay.

“I know,” I murmured, turning my face up toward him. “But I don’t want you to apologize anymore.”

“Neither of us do,” Ash added, already looking at us. “And while I might be slightly against this trip,” he chuckled, “I’m glad you’re forcing us to take it. If we don’t manage to find him soon, this could go on for longer than I want it to.”

None of us wanted to drag this out.

It was as if a pause button was pressed on all our lives. I was missing school, Dylan was out of college right now, and Ash was the same. I was ready to restart our lives and start anew.

“I mean, I had a plan.” Dylan chuckled, and I felt his chest rumbling under my cheek. It was a soothing sound, like the best soundtrack I had ever heard, and it was mainly because I’d forgotten what it was like to see him really laugh. I didn’t think that he laughed properly even before the ceremony. “Cillianbooked these little chalets for us, or whatever the fuck they are. And then there I was, thinking, how to whisk you both there and to actually surprise you. Then the thing with Neal came up.” He winced as he looked at Ash, quickly schooling his features. “I just had to ask him. Cillian changed the reservation, and I was ready to practically kidnap both of you if you said that you didn’t want to go.”

“That’s—”

“Hot,” I finished, interrupting Ash. “Not that kidnapping is hot. I mean…” I pushed myself up, smiling at Dylan. “I would let you kidnap me any day.”

“That’s not what you said when he had that golden mask and when he scared the shit out of you,” Ash grumbled. I turned toward him, grinning when I saw him pouting. I pushed myself closer to him, wrapping my arm around his neck as I sat on his lap.

“Asher Crowell.” I smiled. “Are you pouting?”

“No,” he mumbled, avoiding my eyes.

“It sure seems to me like you are.” I rolled my hips over his lap, feeling his cock right underneath my ass. A groan erupted from him, his head tilting backward just as Dylan scooted closer, dragging his hand through Ash’s hair. “Are you feeling neglected, baby?”

“Yes,” he hissed, as my hand started roaming over his chest, dragging all the way to his lower stomach. Dylan joined me, rubbing over his shirt, right where his nipple was. I pressed my lips against Ash’s, tasting him, pulling out little needy moans from this man who had just killed someone a couple of hours ago.

From the man who was obviously breaking apart but he didn’t know how to ask for help.

His body tensed when my hand disappeared underneath the waist of his pants, wrapping around the base of his cock. Hejerked, grinding his teeth when Dylan’s lips descended on his neck.

The car suddenly swerved to the left and I would’ve lost my balance if it wasn’t for Ash’s hands holding my hips in place. “The fuck?”

I turned around to see the open iron gates the car was now going through. “Are we already there?” I asked the driver, who kept his eyes on the road.

“Yes, ma’am. We will be at the front in approximately two minutes.” We would have to leave this exploration for our room.

I turned around, looking at both of them. Ash kept glancing between Dylan and me, his cheeks flushed, irises dilated. as I gyrated on top of him, I felt his cock waking up, reacting to my actions. I lowered my head to the other side of his neck, opposite of Dylan, and pressed my lips to his ear. “We will have to continue this once we’re in our room. But once we’re there,” I said, biting down on his earlobe. “I don’t want to hear you complain.”

“Jesus fuck, Moonshine,” he groaned, wrapping his hand around Dylan’s head. “You guys are going to be the death of me.”

“I mean,Le Petite Mortis the only acceptable option.”

“The what now?” he asked, opening his eyes.

“Le Petite Mort.” Dylan chuckled, now looking up at me. “The little death, Ash.”

The confused look on his face made me laugh again. As Dylan scooted back toward his seat, I moved myself from on top of Ash, and caressed his cheek with my right hand. “I’ll explain later.” I couldn’t fucking wait.
